This epic 90-minute adventure combines the best that Alaska has to offer — glaciers, flightseeing, and dog sledding on snow.

All the gear that you need to enjoy this fun adventure in comfort and style will be provided for you, so you can just sit back and enjoy the ride!

After gearing up and going over some instructions and safety measures at the office, your helicopter will arrive and whisk you away to your snowy back country wonderland for your dog sled run!

Your flight will take you over beautiful river valleys, and the breathtaking coastline along Resurrection Bay before you head up over the mountains to a back country dog-sled camp on Godwin Glacier. These river valleys along the bay are fantastic places to spot bears and other wildlife!

After you arrive at the dog-sledding camp you will have an opportunity to meet, play and socialize with some of the dogs.

Then it is off to meet your guides and musher team and depart on your 30-minute dog-sledding trip across the glacier snow!

Your guides will pause several times along the way allowing you to capture some incredible photos that will help immortalize this adventure for life!

This tour requires good visibility to fly. If you are in Seward for more than one day, it is recommended that you book your trip on your first day so that if there are issues with the visibility you can reschedule your flight for a later day in your trip.

Terms & Policies

All cancellations must be made more than 48 hours in advance to recoup your full deposit.

If flights are unable to run due to weather, you will receive a full refund. If you have the time, Seward Helicpter Tours will work to reschedule your tour.

Sunglasses are required, no shorts, normal shoes (boots will be provided that that go over your regular shoes), we recommend dressing in layers and if it is raining in Seward it will be raining on the glacier so please bring rain gear if possible. Temperature can fluctuate on the glacier, if you have gloves it is never a bad idea to stick them in a pocket. No backpacks are allowed on the flight, but there is plenty of room to leave bags at the flight office!

All tours are appropriate for all ages. Infants 24 months and under ride free. A complimentary shuttle system is offered for those without vehicles within Seward. Main pick up/ drop off locations are: Harbor 360, The Gateway, The Breeze Inn, The Windsong Lodge, The Best Western, Harbor Master Office, and The Train Depot. Other locations within Seward may be possible upon request. There is free parking at the flight office with spots large enough for RVs. Guests should arrive 20 minutes prior to the departure time for check in. All helicopter tours have a firm 300lb weight limit per person (including any gear going with guests in the helicopter), guests are weighed at check in, anyone over the weight limit will be unable to fly.
