Denali Flyer Flight Tour

This is the most popular flight tour offered by K2 Aviation. This tour will last about an hour and fifteen minutes (or about an hour and forty-five minutes if you include a glacier landing) and will give you all of the perks of the Denali Experience tour plus a few extra special features including a pass by Little Switzerland and more time to spend circling close by mount Denali.

Like the Denali Experience Tour, the Denali Flyer Tour will get you within 6 miles of Denali’s summit, but the flight path and extra time that is included on this tour will give you even more perspectives on the impressive peak, and longer time to take it in!

You will get amazing views of the Great Gorge, impressive Ruth Amphitheater and Moose’s Tooth as well as Huntington and Hunter Mountains and Ruth and Tokositna Glaciers.

But this tour ads an unforgettable experience flying up the 45-mile long Kahiltna Glacier and a close by pass of Little Switzerland and it’s majestic peaks! You will fly by the world famous Kahiltna Base Camp and the massive east face of Mount Foraker!

For an extra memorable experience, add a glacier landing onto your tour and your pilot will touch down on one of the glaciers surrounding Denali Mountain where you can get out and walk around on the glacier allowing for incredible photo opportunities and an unforgettable experience that makes you truly appreciate the immense size of the Alaska Range!

Schedule

Standard Season runs May 1 – September 15
Operating hours are 7 am to 9pm 7 days a week.	There are many tour times available throughout the day. Call to schedule your flight.
Standard flight time:	1 1/4 hours
Flight time w/ glacier landing:	1 2/3 hours
If not being picked by a K2 Aviation shuttle, please arrive 30 minutes before flight time.
During the summer season (May-September 15) guests are encouraged to layer their clothing. Bring a light jacket and wear long pants. It is a good idea to have comfortable, closed toe shoes and sunglasses. Overboots are provided for glacier landings. During the colder seasons, you should bring a heavier coat, gloves or mittens, a hat, and boots.

Terms & Policies

A 50% deposit is required at time of booking. Cancellations can be made up to 48 hours prior to scheduled flight without penalty. Cancellation by K2 Aviation due to weather will be refunded for 100% of the price paid.

All glacier landing tours require a Denali National Park pass for all passengers 16 years old and above.
