The Exit Glacier guided hike is as much about education as it is about fun! Your friendly and knowledgeable guide will teach you how to read the rugged landscape and will point out fascinating landmarks and points of interest along the way while also sharing with you interesting facts and statistics about this unique and ever-changing area.
On your tour you will discover why glaciers in this area are especially sensitive to the changing climate and how the flora and fauna have learned to adapt.
Your hike includes expertise and insights from your knowledgeable guide and an overall education on Alaskan climate change. You will also receive complimentary hiking poles, a day hiking pack (if needed) transportation from the downtown Seward-based office, and organic snacks & hot drinks.
Things you should bring along for your hike include; warm synthetic layers, warm wool socks, hiking boots or sneakers, a day hiking pack if you have one (if not one can be supplied for you for use on the hike), rain gear (can be rented from shop in needed) a refillable water bottle, camera and of course a positive attitude!

There are two hikes offered each day: | ||

This is an easy hike of around 2.5 miles round trip. There is an elevation gain of around 300 feet in total. |
1-2 Guests: | $135/person |
3 Guests | $115/person |
4-6 Guests | $99/person |
Full amount is due at booking.
Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to the trip are allowed minus $10 per person. 15-30 days prior to the trip 20% of total will be charged. 7-15 days prior to the trip 50% of total will be charged. Within 7 days of the trip 100% of total will be charged.
