**The Denali Hostel & Cabins will be undergoing infrastructure repairs and will be closed for the 2025 season.**
The Denali Hostel & Cabins is situated along Carlo Creek just 13 miles south of the Denali National Park entrance along the Parks Highway. Nestled in a beautiful forest setting away from the congested areas near the entrance of the park, the Denali Hostel & Cabins aims to give the best experience possible to Denali visitors. The heated, hand-built cabins certainly give a cozy feel to guests. Cabins of varying sizes and bed configurations greet guests along with beautiful views of the creek and the surrounding mountains from most cabins. Though most cabins are simple in regards to amenities, a few cabins are equipped with fully stocked kitchenettes. No cabins have private bathrooms. However, just a short distance away is centrally located private home-style bathrooms with showers. Meaning, when a guest uses one, the guest can lock the door and it is just the guest inside. Linens, pillows, blankets, towels, and washcloths are provided in all rooms.
The main building on the property is called the Octagon. The Octagon is home to shared kitchen facilities for guest use with a lounge and a deck to converse with fellow Denali travelers. There is also a gift shop and bike shop with services. Guests can also kick back and enjoy the campfire in the evening. For those needing transportation, a free shuttle runs twice in the morning to the Denali Bus Depot and twice in the evening from the Denali Bus Depot. For guests wanting to eat out, there is a cafe across the street and a pizza hub across the highway. Other restaurants are a mere short drive away. Staff at the Denali Hostel & Cabins will be more than eager to share their extensive knowledge of the area to assist guests in selecting the best activities. For a charming and affordable place to stay while visiting Denali, the Denali Hostel & Cabins will be sure to give a truly special experience.
