Christian at front desk was the best willingness & he is a keeper. Bar tenders were also friendly. View is phenomenal, best in Denali. Buy water soda at base of mountain to put in your room fridge. Same with any Tylenol or what not. Will stay here again. Shuttle service to park entrance & base is timely

Location great! Room service was spotty! We had to call repeatedly to get room refreshed and yet no one would come, and when we called the front desk again, they had no record of the request. Too many interns doing important jobs so there is little accountability.

Wonderful lodge! The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were large, comfortable and very clean. We slept well! Highly recommend. We did not care for the restaurant. A larger variety of cuisine would have been nice. The drive to lodge is steep and winding,but the view from the top is beautiful.

If you want to be treated like sheep and stay in a utilitarian room with concrete walls then this is your place. The rooms are sterile and in need of some attention, paint peeling off the bathroom walls, chintzy shower curtain that sticks to you when you try to shower, window screen with holes in it. The grounds are not very welcoming, there is one set of 4 Adirondack chairs to relax in for the whole resort, it's basically bus tour pick up and drop off after bus tour, the shuttle they offer to town I completely unreliable, we were stuck in town a few times with either no show shuttle or him driving past us saying he didn't have room he'd be back in a half hour. And forget being walkable to town, yes it's technically walkable down a switchback, but how do you get back up? The breakfast buffet for 31.99 is a ripoff, foods sub par quality at best, apple juice was expired...there is no lunch option at the resort, and dinner is one restaurant with a very expensive limited menu, and tried it one night and did not eat there again. I would not recommend staying here. Very disappointing for the money we spent.

The Grande Denali was beautiful with amazing views. Shuttle ran at convenient times. Drivers and staff knowledgeable, courteous and friendly. Love the signs along the drive to hotel. Definite stay if you travel to Alaska. Hourly visits to Denali.
