Lake Quinault Lodge has an expansive main lobby where you can enjoy a majestic fireplace and comfortable seating. On-site, the Lodge also has the historic Roosevelt Dining Room that offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner plus beautiful panoramic views of Lake Quinault. Reservations are not required, but they are definitely highly recommended for dinner. And yes the dining room is named after President Franklin D. Roosevelt, he visited in the fall of 1937 and enjoyed lunch at the dining hall which was later named after him. To top that off, nine months later, Roosevelt signed a bill creating Olympic National Park.
