Good visit but a few things amiss

Great property and location and nicely furnished rooms with updated decor and heavy sound deadening room doors! However, no sign requiring masks at lobby entrance and spotty use among guests left me feeling a bit uneasy. Fan was also turned off in little elevator even though i mentioned it at the front desk; taking the stairs seemed a safer option. We also weren't informed of coffee service in the morning at check in, and the room only had cups and cofee service for 2 even though we had 3 people in a double queen room. it's the little things that add up to a great stay versus a good stay.

Hotel has a good location about a block off Highway 101 just before you drive into the center of town coming from the east. There's a street light, so easy to get in and out. Inside is excellently maintained. The lobby has a nice gathering area. The 2 landing areas outside of the elevators also have small sitting areas to gather. Rooms are updated in a woodsy feel with earthtone colors. Very spacious. Very clean. Plenty of parking. Did not seem to have any outdoor area. Pictures show greenery in the back, which is a golf course, but not associated with the hotel. Has a restaurant, but was closed due to COVID. Gabby and Michelle did a great job checking us in and recommending a great dinner place (Kokopelli Grill). Would stay here again.

Stayed at the Olympic Lodge recently while traveling in the Olympic Park, needed to get some work done, so I decided to stay at the Olympic Lodge, to my surprise I was never to told the wifi was not working while making the reservation or at check in, I was told by a really un helpful manager at the front desk that the wifi was simply a courtesy, I can't tell you how many people were having the same issue, the front desk would hand out the password and not tell them there was an issue, I also heard the manager coaching the staff on how to be condescending to frustrated customers

Stayed here for 4 nights while exploring Olympic Peninsula and Parks during the day. The hotel was very clean and the room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel faces Hwy 101 but has a golf course behind it. We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here a couple of nights the end of July for a short Olympic Peninsula getaway. Stayed in a ground floor Patio King room. The hotel is warm and welcoming architecturally, the landscaping is beautiful, and my room was comfortable, inviting, and clean. Just a couple of things keep me from giving Olympic Lodge five stars. The Whistling Frog, the breakfast restaurant in the lodge, is closed due to COVID-19. Nowhere that I could find on the lodge's Web site is this mentioned. Also, I had to keep in contact with work during my stay. The Internet access was slow, unreliable, and kept crashing. Regardless, I would recommend this place for a nice stay in Port Angeles.
