Olympic Lodge by Ayres
Maybe the nicest hotel I've ever stayed at. Continental breakfast was on the weak side.

The rooms, entry area and the common space on our floor with the couches were all impressive. My only complaint is I thought the continental breakfast was a little weak. The oatmeal and toppings were solid, but the only pastry offering was small and unappealing, and the fruit offered needed more variety. It was watermelon only one day, and maybe watermelon and cantaloupe the second day. We stayed here while visiting Olympic National Park for two days, and the location offers quick access to the visitor center, Hurricane Ridge, and the hiking trails on the north side of the park. We were also close to restaurants, shopping, and gas.

The hotel is everything you need for a comfortable and affordable stay in the area. The room was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast buffet was just enough to get you through the morning. The hotel is in a perfect location for the local restaurants and all the park activities. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.
Our activities in the area included:
Hurricane Ridge, and a two-day visit to Victoria BC with Butchart Gardens via the ferry. We hired a private tour guide with The Olympic Hiking Company for visits to the HOH rainforest and Lake Crescent. It was well worth it and we highly recommend it.
One of the nicer hotels you'll find in Port Angeles

Location is convenient to Olympic National Park and the Ferry to Victoria. Hot tub and pool were soothing after a long day hiking. Free continental breakfast was nice but lacked variety. The lobby had a nice lodge feel to it, with a view of the golf course. The halls of the hotel were lined with beautiful photographs of Olympic National Park.

Friendly service staff, comfy bed, beautiful view, soft pillows, and a fire in the fireplace in the lobby when we entered. Only downside personally was too many carbs and only 1 protein on the breakfast bar (boiled eggs). Definitely would stay here again.
A great place to stay in the area

All the prints around the hallways are great ideas for activities in the area, aside from gorgeous to look at. The room was spatious and very clean. Beds and pillow comfy. The fridge was very small. I wish they had a better selection in terms of breakfast options, with more proteins and less carbs/ bread.
