Perfect getaway. Coffee and snacks provided; stove, fridge, microwave, modern TV and even laundry on site. Cozy and quaint. Very nice hosts. Worth every penny! 10 min from port Angeles and also close to hurricane ridge and lakes crescent and sutherland. Good branching off point for most of the peninsula, the only problem is you dont want to leave the cottage

Excellent accommodation, in a quiet tucked away nook and great friendly service. Its truly a hidden gem - exquisite location! We came from seattle - did not use ferry but came from Tacoma - just beware of it when you put directions in your GPS - it doesn't warn you that it is taking you t the ferry!

Everything was fantastic. There's a beautiful self-guided walk & the view from the deck is immersive and peaceful. The owner was extremely kind and his trout pond is a special treat! The rooms made us feel relaxed and at home.

This is an amazing property that I would definitely visit again. A cluster of 5 cabins tucked away about 15 minutes outside of Port Angeles, you definitely feel like you're miles away from everything--Each cabin is decorated on a theme but is more or less the same---A King sized bed, a beautiful bathroom with jacuzzi tub and separate shower ----a well equipped kitchen, and a sitting room/living space. Each has a washer/dryer. Few places I've stayed are as well thought out as this property--right down to the placement of snacks and sodas in the fridge and coffee grounds. We ate in the cabin each breakfast and made dinners twice in 4 days----This helped to defray some of the costs of eating 3 meals a day out. The property offers breakfast but my sense is that it is easier to go to the grocery store in town and pick out a few odds and ends that you want. There is even a seperate little cabin you can go to to hang out and select from over 300 DVDs that are available to borrow. As many have mentioned, they do maintain deer--which you can feed---and koi---a treat if you have children. Obviously, it would have been nice if one or two of the units had an extra bedroom but I really can't complain--- Try to spend a little time talking to the innkeepers----He has an amazing life story and can tell you all about fishing the Bering sea. Would definitely stay again.

We were visiting Port Angeles/Olympic National Park as part of a two week western trip and found this lodging on hotels.com. After a long day of traveling and hiking in the park, we pulled up to our "cottage" and were amazed with the amenities, etc. Even better, there was a washer and dryer in the cabin we were in and we were able to catch up on laundry. I would definitely recommend the Hidden Haven.
