Reservations Policy
Cancellation Policy:
A deposit equal to one night's lodging plus 10% tax should accompany each reservation. Deposits will be refunded if cancellation is received 48 hours prior to scheduled arrival. Rates are subject to approval by the National Park Service and may change at any time without notice.
Past visitors to Mammoth Cave National Park have probably enjoyed the hospitality of the Mammoth Cave Hotel compound. Geologic wonders await you within this 392 mile long labrynth of formations along with the intense history of those who went in and never returned. Cave tours are complemented by the comfortable above ground hospitality of the Mammoth Cave Hotel. Several accommodation choices are available to suit the differring needs of visitors to Mammoth Cave, the largest and longest cave in the world. The Mammoth Cave Hotel is open year round and offers ideal access to the main entrance to Mammoth Cave National Park.
The Mammoth Cave Hotel has three eating establishments in the main hotel area as well as souvenier and convenience store shopping. Business meetings and retreats are popular here at the Mammoth Cave Hotel. The hotel will help you coordinate special events. The meeting room accommodates up to 125 people seated theater-style, 75 people classroom style and 50 seated conference-style. Catering is also available.

Heritage Trail Rooms:
Just steps from the walking bridge that connects to the National Park Visitors Center are the Heritage Trail Rooms of the Mammoth Cave Hotel. Each room enjoys a balcony looking out to the historic Heritage Trail which is rich with greenery. ADA accessible rooms are available as well as the Heritage Rooms being the closest accommodations to the cave entrance. Heritage Rooms include a 27" TV and a refigerator. These rooms sleep up to four people.

Sunset Terrace Rooms:
On the edge of the lush forest are the Sunset Terrace Rooms. These rooms step out onto the Heritage Trail just short of the Sunset Point Overlook. This secluded group of 20 rooms is a nice place for groups that will cherish the seclusion as well as the ability to stay close together. Each room has two double beds with air conditioning. These rooms sleep up to 4 people.

Hotel Cottages:
The Hotel Cottages offer a secluded and historic ambiance in the shelter of the forest. These cottages are still close to the main hotel area dining, shopping anf hotel facilities as well as the campground. The Hotel Cottages are furnished comfortably to accommodate up to two people. The cottages are available from mid-March through October only.
Woodland Cottages:
The Woodland Cottages are nestled into a large tree grove not too far from the main hotel dining, shopping and hotel facilities. These cottages come in one, two, three or four bedrooms making them able to accommodate up to 16 people. The larger units are perfect for families and groups visiting Mammoth Cave National Park. Two room cottages share a bathroom. Roll-aways are available for a $9 fee, and use of cribs are free. The Woodland Cottages are available from mid-May through September.
