Q:Do All Big Meadows Rooms have a view?
A:Some of the Preferred rooms, suites and Lodge Terrace rooms have views of the Shenandoah Valley, most rooms will look out into trees and the property surrounding Big Meadows.
Q:Can I bring my Dog to Big Meadows?
A:Big Meadows Lodge does have limited pet friendly rooms available for an additional fee of $30 per night. Shenandoah is one of the few National Parks that allows pets on the trails. Be sure to follow all the rules regarding pets in the park, these can be found at http://www.nps.gov/shen/planyourvisit/pets.htm.
Q:Is there Wi-fi and Televisions in all the rooms at Big Meadows?
A:Big Meadows currently has Wi-fi available for guests and visitors in the Great Room of the main building. Televisions are only in Premium and select Preferred Rooms at Big Meadows, most of the rooms maintain the historic quality of when they were built without amenities of television and telephone.
Q:Is Big Meadows Lodge on Skyland Drive?
A:Big Meadows Lodge is one of three properties in the park that is right off of the popular skyline drive located on mile marker 51. This is very convenient for visitors to Shenandoah National Park.
