Big Meadows Lodge welcomes you to Shenandoah National Park with a variety of lodging options to suit any style. Choose from the cozy comfort of a cabin room, the classic appeal of a main lodge room, or the spacious luxury of a modern suite. With 29 inviting rooms in the main lodge and an additional 72 spread across rustic cabins, multi-unit lodges, and contemporary suites, Big Meadows offers the perfect home base for your park adventures.
There are two types of Preferred Rooms. One comes with two queen beds and air conditioning. The other comes with either one king bed or one double bed, ceiling fan & fireplace (first bundle provided, additional firewood available for purchase). Be aware that the fireplace rooms do not have air conditioning and not all rooms offer fireplaces. The Preferred Rooms are located in a two-story building with exterior access and no elevators. All rooms feature a television, hairdryer, and coffee maker. There are no in-room phones. Cell service accessibility depends on your carrier. The majority of these rooms are pet-friendly (additional charge for pets). There are a limited number of accessible rooms available for those needing extra assistance. The Main Lodge Rooms are modest rooms with different bed configurations offering either one double, two doubles, or two twins, or one double & two twins, and a private bathroom.
