Policies of Boar's Head Resort:

Reservation Policy

An amount equal to one night with tax (and a $26.33 resort fee per night) will be charged at the time of booking.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations are required at least 7 days prior to your scheduled arrival date. Should you cancel within 7 days prior to arrival, the one-night room deposit (including taxes and fees) will be forfeit.

Pets Policy

Pets are allowed in select rooms. Limited inventory and specific room type only. Not open to all room types. A non-refundable pet fee of $125 (for up to 2 pets) will apply to your stay. 

Guests must display notifications to alert housekeeping that a pet is in residence. Do not leave the dog alone in the room without being crated. If there is excessive barking, the guest will be notified, and proper action will be taken.  Guests are responsible for pet waste clean-up inside the hotel and throughout the property grounds. Boar’s Head reserves the right to remove guests whose pets are deemed noisy or disruptive. Dogs should be leashed or restrained at all times in public spaces in the hotel or on the property. Dogs should also be supervised at all times. Dogs are not allowed in specific public areas including the lobby, restaurants, Boar’s Head Sports Club, Birdwood Golf Course, and the pools. Guests are responsible for all personal injuries and/or property damage related to their dog(s). 

Other Policy

Rates Policy: Rates are based on double occupancy. Resort Fee: There is an additional $36.86 per night resort fee for use of the Sports Club fitness equipment, transportation to and from Charlottesville Airport, local telephone calls, use of resort bicycles, fishing equipment, tea, and coffee in the Ordinary Room. Rollaway beds are not available.
