A:The elevation here is around 6500 feet and visitor's should take necessary precautions as there is a decreased oxygen level. We recommend you stay well hydrated and avoid diuretics such as alcohol and caffeine.

A:The cabins are in the Grant Grove area of Kings Canyon National Park. Within walking distance of world-famous General Grant Tree, they are about a 1/2 mile from a visitor center, market, restaurant, gift shop and post office.

A:Officially, Cabin 9, known as the "Honeymoon Cabin" is the oldest structure still standing in Grant Grove Village dating back to 1910.
