Q:How far away is the General Sherman Tree?
A:The General Sherman Tree is about 25 miles away and will take about an hour to drive the winding road into Sequoia/King's Canyon National Parks.
Q:Do I need to have tire chains?
A:Chains are required in your vehicle during the winter months. Keep in mind you will be in the mountains and the weather can change at any moment. Chain regulations are strictly enforced.
Q:Is cell phone service available?
A:Cell phone service may be limited in many areas but there phones available at the lodge if you need to make contact with friends or family.
