Policies of Buckeye Tree Lodge & Cabins:

Reservation Policy

Your credit card will be used to guarantee the reservation. The guest will be contacted by the lodge 3 days prior to arrival to finalize payment in full.

Cancellation Policy

1-week cancellation period. If you fail to cancel the reservation at least 1 week prior to your arrival date, you will be charged the full amount of your stay unless the lodge is able to re-book your room at the same rate. In that case, you would only be charged a $30 cancellation fee.

Pets Policy

Allow up to 2 pets per room per night. The pet MUST be kennel trained and kept in the kennel when left alone in the room although the lodge highly discourages leaving the pets alone. Also, because the rooms require additional cleaning after a pet stay, an additional cleaning fee of $30 per pet per night will be added, pet-friendly in all cabins and first-floor rooms.

NOTE: The Riverhouse and Falcon cabins have a pet cleaning fee of $45 per pet per night. Thank you in advance for cleaning up after your pets and disposing properly in the dumpster located by the office. Please note that Sequoia National Park does not allow pets to get out of the car while inside the park.

Other Policy

Rates Policy: The base rate for rooms at Buckeye Tree Lodge & Cabins is for the number of persons you advised will stay at the lodge. The base rate for all of the rooms is for up to 2 people with River House, Dogwood, Forest, and Glacier Chalet at 4 people. Each additional person 3 yrs of age or older will incur an additional charge of $15.00 per night. All rooms require a 2-night minimum stay during the peak summer season with a 3-night minimum stay for holidays. The River House requires a 2-night minimum stay at all times with a 3-night minimum stay for holidays. Rollaway beds are not available.

Office Hours:
The office is open from 8 am until 8 pm, however, a night manager is available after hours. If you need to check in late, please make prior arrangements so you can pick up your key regardless of your arrival time. The lodge also strives to accommodate earlier check-ins or later check-outs wherever possible, but cannot guarantee availability.
