Q:How far away is the entrance to the park?
A:The Buckeye Tree Lodge is literally just seconds away from the entrance to the park. General Sherman Tree, the worlds largest tree is just an hour away, and General Grant Grove is just an hour and 45 minutes away. You can easily enjoy Sequoia and Kings Canyon while staying at the Buckeye.
Q:Is there a restaurant at the Buckeye?
A:The Buckeye Tree Lodge does not have a restaurant. A light breakfast basket is delivered to guests each morning. There are dining options in the town of Three Rivers and also options inside of the park to explore.
Q:Do any of the rooms have kitchenettes?
A:The Buckeye Tree Lodge does not have any rooms with kitchenettes, but the cabins have kitchens. The property does have a picnic area with limited charcoal barbecues available for guests to enjoy with caution. The area is a fire-prone area so there may be restrictions.
