There are three types of lodge rooms available at the Izaak Walton Inn; the Empire Builder Room, the Great Northern Room, and The Empire Builder Family Suites. One of the joys of vacationing at Glacier National Park is the many lodging options, none better than the cabin option. At the Izaak Walton Chalet, you'll find 4 new log cabins that can accommodate up to 4 guests.
The Empire Builder Rooms at Izaak Walton Inn feature one queen bed and will sleep two guests maximum. Select rooms can accommodate a 3rd person with a futon (available by request). All rooms have a full private bathroom. Rooms can be facing the track side or non-track side.
Great Northern Rooms are located on the first floor and have a maximum occupancy of three, offering one queen bed, one twin bed, and a private bathroom. Rooms can be facing the trackside or non-track side and accessible rooms are available.
The School House Rooms is a new addition to Izaak Walton Inn. Built-in 2018 these rooms are separate from the inn, just a short walk away, and overlook the inn. The rooms feature a private bathroom with a walk-in shower and claw foot tub, a king bed, a small kitchenette, and a deck. WiFi is available in the rooms, no television, telephone, or air conditioning is available in the rooms.
The Empire Builder Family Suite, ideal for larger parties with sleeping space for six people, features two queens, one twin bed and one twin futon, and a private bathroom. These suites are only on the trackside of the property.
These cozy Family Cabins include a private bathroom with a shower, a kitchenette, and a front porch with a bench and a shared picnic area. These cabins have a full-sized bed in their own area, living room, and another full-sized bed in a loft area, which is accessible by ladder. The cabins will sleep a total of four guests (ideally two adults and two kids). These require a two-night minimum.

The James J Hill House is a newly renovated three-bedroom, two-bathroom home within walking distance of the inn and restaurant. The upstairs offers a bathroom with a shower only, the first bedroom has a queen, the second bedroom has a twin over queen bunk bed. The main floor offers a balcony, full bathroom tub/shower combo, kitchen, dining area, and living room. The lower level offers the third bedroom with two twin over queen bunk beds. This home requires a two-night minimum for each reservation, a non-refundable cleaning fee of $75.00 for each reservation, and can accommodate up to ten guests (note: there is an extra charge for more than 8 guests).
The Walton House is a three-bedroom, two-bathroom home located just a short distance (200 yards) from the Izaak Walton Inn.
