Carlo Creek Cabins, located a mere 12 miles south of the entrance to Denali National Park, is a relaxing place to stay away from the congested areas near the entrance to Denali. Family-owned and operated since 1959, Carlo Creek Cabins offers handcrafted cabins and lodge rooms on 11 wooded acres along Carlo Creek. Cabins include five historic cabins with private baths, five cabins with shared baths, and six new lodge rooms. One cabin, Cabin 1, is equipped with a full kitchen, while all other cabins/rooms come with a microwave, fridge, and coffee pot. Cabins 1 and 5 are great for families and sleep up to 5-6 people. Cabins are located either next to Carlo Creek or nestled in the woods. The shared bath cabins are definitely budget-friendly and include access to a very appealing and clean shower house. The new lodge rooms are fantastic for two people. Please take note that 4-9 stairs are required to reach the lodge rooms. Daily housekeeping is provided for all cabins/rooms.
For those wanting to stay connected, there is free Wifi for guests along with access to a coin-op laundry room. Guests can take advantage of the grounds by enjoying a peaceful stroll on an easy on-site trail. Guests also have access to a dishwashing station, a lending library, and board & games. A few restaurants are within walking distance. Please take note that the shuttle service is not offered to and from Carlo Creek Cabins. Guests will need vehicle access during their stay at Carlo Creek Cabins for their Denali adventures.
