Stone Lagoon Cabin - Trinidad

A private and authentic cabin located on 2 acres! At the Stone Lagoon Cabin, you can see wild elk on the property, sit by the nearby creek, and walk or ride bikes to Stone Lagoon. Explore the redwoods in Redwood National Park or any of the beaches that surround you! The cabin has 2 bedrooms, one of which adjoins the living room. A privacy screen can be used to separate it from the living room, dining area and full kitchen. Wood stoves in the living room and formal bedroom (the only available heat source) will keep you plenty warm! Stone Lagoon Cabin is a newly restored logger cabin and is extremely private and off the beaten path. Surrounded by nature, you can take a nice 1.5-mile walk to the beach and lagoons, walking by herds of wild elk and beautiful horses. Horseback riding is available about a 1/2 mile from the cabin. World-class hiking surrounds you here, whether through the Redwoods National Park, the trail from Dry Lagoon to Stone Lagoon along the beaches and forest (about a five-mile round trip), the Lady Bird Johnson Grove, Tall Trees, or other local trails. Some of these walks are accessible by walking out your front door, especially the Dry Lagoon to Stone Lagoon. The lagoons offer great fishing, kayaking (rentals are available), canoeing, Paddle Boarding, surf fishing, boating, and sailing. Annual events held locally include the Orick Rodeo which takes place in the summer, and the Yurok Tribe's Sumeg Village Day, a celebration of the local Native American culture held at nearby Patrick's Point State Park.

Please Note: Tthe only heat source in the cabin is wood heat. A wood stove in the living room and another in the formal bedroom will keep you plenty warm
