Kandahar Lodge is an elegant, yet casual lodge surrounded by alpine splendor atop Big Mountain. This intimate Montana mountain inn adds romance and charm to any occasion or solitude and relaxation to business gatherings. The quiet, comfortable surroundings of Kandahar Lodge lend special pleasure to work and play. Kandahar Lodge offers seven room types; garret, hotel rooms, studios, lofts, kitchen lofts, two-room suites, and the executive suite. There is no elevator and all rooms require some stairs.

Kandahar Lodge is a great option for both summer and winter seasons with easy access to Whitefish Lake, Whitefish Mountain Ski Resort, and other surrounding areas such as Glacier National Park and Flathead Lake. During the winter season, skiers can ski right into the hotel from the mountain on Hailey's Run and the lodge is only 15 minutes from downtown Whitefish with daily shuttles as well. The lodge has a remarkable Great Room perfect for relaxing at the end of the day by the huge, rock fireplace while enjoying complimentary WiFi and a delicious beverage from the Snug Bar.
