The Cathedral Mountain Lodge offers a truly awe-inspiring experience in the amazing Canadian Rockies. Located in Yoho National Park near the Kicking Horse River just 20 minutes west of Lake Louise, the seasonal lodge (late May to early October) offers 31 log cabins for a luxurious atmosphere for guests. The cabins come in stand-alone and duplex style. While most cabins have a king bed and sleep a maximum of two people, a few Premier Cabins have a loft with two additional twin beds and can sleep a maximum of four people. The cabins exude a romantic feel with either a wood-burning fireplace or an antique-style gas fireplace. Spacious bathrooms and private or semi-private decks are also can't miss amenities for each cabin.
Before setting out on a day of wonder in the mountains, a complimentary market-fresh continental breakfast is served each morning. Upon returning for the day, the on-site restaurant, the Riverside Dining Room, features fresh local ingredients, organic dishes, and a fine list of wines. To cap off the day, guests can purchase a s'mores kit and lounge on the banks of the Kicking Horse River.
The main lodge is not only home to the on-site restaurant but also to a cozy indoor and outdoor seating area with a fireplace. Besides the plethora of activities in the surrounding Canadian Rockies, guests of the Cathedral Mountain Lodge can also take advantage of complimentary canoeing on Moraine Lake at their sister lodge, Moraine Lake Lodge. Moraine Lake is located about 30-45 minutes from Cathedral Mountain Lodge. With no televisions or internet in the cabins, guests can truly get away from it all at the exceptional Cathedral Mountain Lodge.
