Chisos Mountains Lodge to Close for Renovations

Starting May 1, 2025, the Chisos Mountains Lodge will close for approximately two years of renovations. While the park remains open, visitor access to the Chisos Basin will be significantly disrupted. The Chisos Basin area will be closed entirely during the initial demolition and construction phases. As work progresses, limited access may be allowed in certain areas. Please explore other lodging options in Big Bend National Park during this time.
