Apgar Village Lodge & Cabins Frequently Asked Questions
FAQ
Find the answers to the most frequently asked questions about the Apgar Village Lodge & Cabins.
Q:Is this considered the Village Inn at Apgar?
A:No. This property is also located in Apgar Village right next to the Village Inn at Apgar but is owned and operated by a different entity.
Q:Is there a view of the lake from my room?
A:Unfortunately no. There are some motel rooms and a cabin that have a view of McDonald Creek but not of Lake McDonald. The only way to get the rooms that face the creek are to book a McDonald Creek Motel Room or Two Room Cabin with Kitchen, 2 Queens and Living Room. Both rooms will have a view in the room description.
Q:Can I bring my dog?
A:Unfortunately this lodge does not accommodate for pets. It’s also not highly recommended to bring dogs to the park as the areas and trails that they can access are limited.
Q:I can’t go without my coffee. Do all the rooms have coffee makers?
A:All of the cabins with kitchens will have coffee makers and complimentary coffee. For the rooms that don’t have coffee makers rest assured you are within walking distance to Eddie’s Cafe & Mercantile that serves coffee and specialty coffee drinks.
Q:Where do I eat?
A:There are plenty of dining options to choose from within a couple mile radius. Within walking distance is Eddie’s Cafe & Mercantile which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Drive 10 miles further into the park to Lake McDonald Lodge to eat at Lucke’s Lounge, Jammer Joe’s Grill & Pizzeria or Russell’s Fireside Dining Room. There is also the West Glacier Restaurant and the West Glacier Mercantile which are just a short ½ mile drive right outside of the park entrance in West Glacier Village.
