Q:Is the Tenaya Lodge inside Yosemite National Park?
A:The Tenaya Lodge is located just outside of the southern entrance, in an area called Fish Camp. Just two miles from the entrance, the Tenaya Lodge offers convenience for visitors coming from the southern cities in the state of California.
Q:Is transportation offered from Tenaya Lodge to Yosemite's Valley Floor?
A:There is no transportation offered from the Tenaya Lodge. The YARTS shuttle bus only operates on the Valley Floor and goes out to a couple of lodges on the western side. Guests at the Tenaya should plan on having their own form of transportation to enter the park and gain access to the Valley Floor.
