Overview of The Primrose

Ideally located in downtown Bar Harbor, The Primrose dwells along with the historic Mount Desert Street Corridor mere minutes from Acadia National Park. Originally constructed in 1878 with 19th-century stick style architecture, the seasonal inn offers 15 spacious rooms which have been updated with modern conveniences but yet in such a way to preserve the classic cottage charm of the historic structure. Rooms and suites have been individually decorated with custom furnishings and fine artwork. All rooms come with a spacious private bath, flat-screen smart television with Netflix capability, free wireless internet, fine linens & robes, and air conditioning. Two-room suites give added space for guests. All rooms are not pet-friendly and non-smoking. Please note that select days may require a two-night minimum stay.
