Overview of Mountain Meadows Inn

The Mountain Meadows Inn is ideally located at the base of Mount Rainier in Ashford, Washington, a short 10-minute drive from the Nisqually entrance to Mount Rainier National Park. The charm of the Historical Inn along with the adjacent Chalet Suites is enjoyed by visitors from all around the world to Mount Rainier. Six suites are available year-round, three being in the Chalet and the other three in the Historical Inn. Each of the spacious Chalet suites can sleep a maximum of four people and offer a full kitchenette, dining area, private bathroom, DirecTV, and wireless internet. Views of the park-like surroundings of the property abound. One suite, the Garden Suite, has two separate bedrooms for more privacy. No less appealing, the three suites in the Historical Inn have private bathrooms, wireless internet, and beautiful views of the forest and meadow. Two suites in the Historical Inn sleep up to four people while the third, more private suite sleeps up to two people. Each of the three suites in the Inn has unique features and attractive decor for all types of guests.

The Historical Inn is a Craftsman-style home originally built in 1910. The home has been renovated through the years with recent upgrades including beautifully restored Douglas Fir floors and a new Travertine stone floor in the dining room. Guests in the Inn Suites have shared access to the living room with Direct TV and a fireplace. There is also access to the dining room, kitchen, and outdoor barbeque. While the complimentary breakfast specialty items are delivered to Chalet suites before the arrival of guests, guests of the Inn suites have their breakfast items presented in the kitchen each morning. Upon returning from excursions in the National Park or dinner at a local restaurant, guests can schedule times for private soakings in the outdoor hot tub or enjoy the campfire area with complimentary wood. And at all times, guests can relax, read, or chat on the large wrap-around porch/veranda of the Historical Inn.
