Manresa Castle Hotel was built in 1892 as a home for Charles and Kate Eisenbeis, prominent members of the early community of Port Townsend. In 1925, a Seattle attorney bought the Castle as a vacation place for nuns teaching in Seattle schools. This plan did not work out well and in 1927 the Jesuit priests purchased the building for use as a training college. In 1968 the castle was purchased yet again and turned into the hotel it is today. Many upgrades have been made to the castle during this time and originally there were only three bathrooms now there are forty-three.
The Manresa Castle Hotel offers many different types of accommodations for your traveling needs.
