Manresa Castle Hotel was built in 1892 as a home for Charles and Kate Eisenbeis, prominent members of the early community of Port Townsend. In 1925, a Seattle attorney bought the Castle as a vacation place for nuns teaching in Seattle schools. This plan did not work out well, and in 1927, the Jesuit priests purchased the building for use as a training college. In 1968, the castle was bought again and turned into its current hotel. Many upgrades have been made to the castle during this time, and originally, there were only three bathrooms. Now, there are forty-three.
The Manresa Castle Hotel offers many different accommodations for your traveling needs. Each room provides a unique Victorian theme, private bathrooms, or detached bathrooms with one queen one king, or two queen beds.
