Q:What is the National Elk Refuge?
A:Located just 15 miles from the hotel, this 25,000 acre refuge is home to one of the world's largest herds of elk. If you are staying at the Teton Mountain Lodge during the winter months this is a must see! The elk can be seen by horse-drawn sleigh mid-December through March.
