The Moki Dugway
This route provides some excellent scenery and some nice overlooks, but it is not for those who are afraid of heights. There is a section with 1100 foot drop-offs and a 10% grade. (Vehicles over 10,000 lbs are prohibited.)

Valley of the Gods Scenic Drive
Just 6-8 miles north of Mexican Hat, Utah, on U.S. Highway 163 is a dirt and gravel road that heads off to the west into Valley of the Gods. The 15-mile Valley of the Gods Road takes drivers through a the famous red rock valley colored with desert plants and featuring several small buttes and spires.
