The Exit Glacier Hike is an excellent way to see one of the most popular glaciers in the Seward area, while also getting some exercise and a top-notch education on the regions interesting history and geology. Your hike includes expertise and insights from your knowledgeable guide and an overall education on Alaskan climate change. Also included is hiking poles, a day pack (if needed) and transportation from the Seward office as well as snacks and hot drinks.

Stand at the edge of Harding Ice Field, one of the most vast and impressive fields of ice in Alaska! More than 700-square miles of endless icefield, broken up by the occasional mountain peak that breaks through like a remote island. You will be trekking along a trail that will pass by Exit Glacier and you will be able to witness some breathtaking ice crevasses and moraines along the way. You will also find many opportunities for spotting wildflowers, and unique wildlife such as bear, goats and marmots. Your guide will provide fascinating commentary along the way and your tour includes complimentary hiking poles, a day pack, transportation as well as lunch, hot drinks, and snacks.
