We spent the better part of the week enjoying our stay at the Cliffrose Springdale! Upon check in we were greeted by two very front desk attendants, with very wam personalities. They gave us a quick rundown of the hotel and answered our questions about where to grab a bit to eat in town! The hotel itself is located within a short walking distance to the entrance of Zion National Park, coffee shops, brewpub, restaurants and a local market to grab odd and ends - great location! So you can leave your car in the parking lot and enjoy your time on foot! The room itself was adequate, we were on the ground level of the building attached to the lobby. Our room had a great view of the main pool area with the Watchman behind it. Room came complete with two outdoor patio chairs to relax and take in the view. There is a large pool which was 88 degrees and next to it is a hot tub which is open 24 hours! Seemed like we were one of the only ones using it at night! Upon taking the paved pathway around the grounds and overlooking the river to Zion you'll walk by the 2nd smaller hot tub area, this one was crowded during our stay! Keep an eye out for the deer walking the grounds at night! There is a restaurant on the property which we did not dine at as there are so many other food options close by! You can tell this hotel cares about its upkeep as the staff were constantly maintaining the plants and grass during our stay, and it looks beautiful! This is a great place to stay while enjoying the beauty of Zion!

Our room was spacious and decorated nicely, very comfortable place away from home. Close to shopping, dining, and the park entrance so we didn't have to worry about taking our car or parking. The staff was exceptional. Jenna and Whitnee were so kind when I checked in and Veronica and Arnold provided great information about the park. I would absolutely stay here again.

Arnold gave great recommendations for guides during our stay. Thank you! Steps to the front of the park and minutes to coffee and great dining. Fantastic stay! Would highly recommend this location to those wanting easy access to the park and great amenities

The location didn't make up for the inadequacies.

Before getting to the details of the property, do note its location to enter Zion is simply steps away. If this is of greatest concern then please consider this hotel a more than viable option and read no more. Coming in from Vegas we were looking for a respite from the 'madness' and thought some time in nature would be the perfect 'medicine'. Zion is just steps from the doors of this property--it's selling point--but the hotel is simply lacking in many ways. The rooms, we had a riverfront king with a patio, are quite dated and the use of space in them makes it hard for even two fit people to maneuver--the shower is smaller than ones I've seen in London and nearly unusable but there is a deep soaking tub if that's your thing. I describe the decor as '70's Poconos Honeymoon suite meets an old western.. Yes, you do look out on the river--though it's a fair distance from the rooms to hear it--and yes you can see the red rocks of Zion. The restaurant is not set-up to handle the number of rooms. Wait times were beyond reasonable for dinner and we elected to not even try for breakfast--forgoing all of our dining credits. We had some issues with service and cleanliness on our stay but Arnold was quick and kind in responding. It's possible this hotel was just not for us and may be for you, so don't look past it, a review is just that, a review by one person, but I'm not sure I'd return.
