The location is great because it is within walking distance of the park entrance. Our room had a nice balcony with a river and mountain view. The room quality was great and the staff were exceptionally helpful and courteous. I highly recommend this hotel.

Location is everything

What a location--right in the middle of a beautiful canyon with bold rock formations towering right over your room---a peaceful stream flowing through the edge of the property where you can make a fire and enjoy nature. Nice extras are two heated pools and a spa.
Service at the front desk was excellent. Agents act as concierge and are quite knowledgeable about the park. Rooms are perfectly adequate--clearly an older hotel that has had a face-lift but it was a good face-lift.
The only reason I didn't give it a perfect score was some objections I had about the restaurant and those might just be a matter of taste. The presentation wasn't very impressive--the decor a little too understated and the location right off the lobby when there are better parts of hotel with better views was a little odd. Though it is clear that "fine dining" is the goal here, a few options more catered to us common folk might have been nice. For instance, maybe one sandwich or some more casual fare on the dinner menu? Maybe more of a liquor variety than just top-shelf? The bar didn't have any liquors on display and so you just had to specifically ask if they had something--most of which they didn't. The staff was friendly but not enthusiastic.
That is a small grip overall though. There are plenty of other restaurants in Springdale that were probably more my style. I was too tired after a long drive to get in the car again. Overall, I found this a great place to stay and I would certainly return.

Amazing Location but Maintenance Issues

The pool and hot tubs were a great way to relax at the end of the day. There were seemingly always leaves in the pool but it generally seemed clean. The fire pits along the river were also a great surprise and the grounds were well maintained. You had great views of the park as well. The only issue is rooms seemed very poorly maintained with cheap fixtures and decor. There was peeling paint, cracked mirrors, beat up furniture, and a faucet that fell off in my hand. It didn’t seem up to par for the price.

The tub drain wasn't going down (to hold water in the tub) and maintenance wasn't able to fix it. Not even a big deal! But Hilton comped our ENTIRE ROOM FEE. HILTON FOR LIFE BABY!!!
