Great view but Smelled like gym socks
We stayed here in October of 2021. It was our last stop in our Mighty Five trip. The front office staff were very helpful. When we opened the door to our second story room the musty smell of gym socks immediately hit our noses. We opened the windows, turned on the air conditioner, and sat outside. The other couple in our trip had a similar situation with their room next door. This hotel is located about 1.5 miles north of the Zion park entrance. The restaurant located next door, Kings Landing, is very good. But this hotel does not offer a breakfast option other than a $8 voucher you can purchase to use uptown.

Zion National Park gem
Room was clean, beds comfy. Staff was helpful if somewhat businesslike and detached. The location was very good...1.7 mi from Zion entrance and adjacent to stop 7 for the free town shuttle. The restaurant, Kings Landing, had great service and excellent food at reasonable prices. The hotel room price was just a bit more than I liked but I wanted the location. Best attribute was the spectacular view. Overall I would go back to the Driftwood.

Beautiful Lodge short distance to Zion
Driftwood Lodge is a great place to stay even if Zion weren't just down the street! We enjoyed the restaurant, the spacious rooms, the patio overlooking canyons and the visiting elk. We want to go back for a longer stay!

Close to the Park but Not Impressed with the Room or the Service
We recently travelled to Zion, 9/30 to 10/3. This was an excellent time of the year. The park and hotel were not crowded and it was close to the park. I was excited to check in but so disappointed when we got to the room. The rooms were old and the set up was weird. There is a kitchen area in the bathroom. The beds were not comfortable and were clearly outdated. We were told there would be no housekeeping at all, including trash removal or towel service. The pool was dated and tiles were chipping off the hot tub. I thought it was overpriced for what we got and not even close to what was shown in the interior room photos. The staff were not friendly and didn't seem responsive to our feedback. It was the only thing about my trip was the hotel. Other than that, we had a wonderful time.

Beautiful location and perfect room
What a wonderful location and room! The room (#505) had a great view and a lovely patio. Great places on the resort to just sit and unwind. I think we spent more time here than in the national park. The park was kind of a zoo, but Driftwood was peaceful and beautiful. Thank you to all the staff!
