We enjoyed our three day stay at the Parry Lodge for the annual Kanab Writers Conference. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Some remodeling was taking place, but it didn’t interfere with our stay. The buffet style breakfast each morning was well prepared. The nostalgic photos in the lobby and dining area were a treat. Would stay again.

Historic motel where Hollywood Western stars used to stay - all the rooms are named after film stars. Our cabin was quiet and comfortable, with a nice front deck for sitting in warm weather. Lots of history in the lobby and the restaurant. Excellent buffet breakfast. Central location - walking distance to restaurants. Nice heated pool. Good base fror Zion and Bryce canyons. Not the cheapest in Kanab but definitely the most charm!

I just loved this place in “Little Hollywood”. This is a classic style motel, not a sleek, new, modern motel, but it has so much charm and individuality. Western movies and tv shows were filmed in this town and the motel and the whole town capitalizes on this. There are photos everywhere of stars who stayed here and several historic articles and documents from the time. Fun, fun, fun! We stayed in the Gabby Hayes room. It had everything expected in a motel - comfy bed, tv, WiFi, nice bathroom, cleanliness, but it also had the added charm of an archway dividing the bedroom from the dressing area. The Lodge even shows movies every night. The Lodge is a 90 minute drive to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon.

Nice enough place but charged me twice so be warned!

Stayed here recently and its OK for a cheap / interesting stay. The staff were friendly and the room was OK just a bit dated and needing some updating etc but as I said it was cheap. The breakfast was decent enough better than most chains. My rating would have been higher but they charged me twice for the room once when I originally booked with Expedia and again when we arrived although they said I have paid so be WARNED!. Impossible to get any replies from there email etc so had to claim through credit card! Not good Parry Lodge !!!

Like stepping back in time!

We love staying at Parry Lodge! It is centrally located with a great restaurant right across the street. The rooms are clean and roomy. We love the fact that we can drive right up to our room. It's nice having chairs outside to enjoy the red rocks mountains that surround the area. Be sure to check out the movie in the old barn. The opening movie gives you a lot of history about the area and Parry lodge. If you are a western or Hollywood lover, this is the hotel for you.
