Just Fine For Nat'l Pk Stay

This is a good choice for lodgings with your focus being all about Bryce Canyon Nat'l Park. Our room was not shiny and new, but nicely updated, affordable, clean, quiet, and appointed with all the conveniences you would need or expect. Great shower, soap, linen. Sure, the "Ruby" family seems to own most of the adjoining businesses in this park entance locale and prices are a little high, but it is your choice to use them....or drive 10-20 miles down the road for other choices. Food options were not impressive in the area, especially in lieu of Covid, but we weren't there for the cuisine! Bryce Pk is not located in a town full of conveniences like other parks. Come prepared, bring drinks and protein bars. The comp hot breakfast (also offered in a bag to go) was very basic, but darn good after everyone elses breakfast-in-a-bag at other hotels on our trip. A hot cup of coffee in a real mug also appreciated over room coffee. The servers were friendly, fast, and suited up in mask. Covid guidelines were observed in general. Parking is ample. The free, non-mandatory shuttle (Zion NP) is conveniently nearby. Lobby is cozy, although Amina at the check-in desk was a little abrupt. We were happy with our stay.

Great Location, Clean Facilities, Friendliest Service

We loved our stay in this cute Western themed hotel. It was clean, the room was spacious with plenty of counter spaces for those of us that pack plenty of toiletries, and had the friendliest service. The free breakfast was scrambled eggs, bacon, toast, tater tots, and a drink. It was a fine meal to replace the buffet option that would be available if the pandemic was not happening. We would recommend this place to anyone!

This hotel had everything we needed. The room was comfortable, with a refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave provided. The room rate included a hot breakfast each morning (served to your table in the restaurant), even with Covid going on. The Bryce Canyon National Park shuttle picks up directly in front of the hotel....so convenient. This location made a good base for also exploring in Grand Staircase National Monument.

There aren't many places to stay when visiting Bryce National Park and this one is quite convenient. We only stayed here one night and for that I was glad. It was fine for one night but I don't think I could have done longer. It is in dire need of updating. We stayed during Covid and breakfast was included but we weren't comfortable eating in a restaurant yet and was grateful that they offered a hot or cold to go breakfast. The hot breakfast was a bacon and egg wrap, a granola bar, a piece of fruit and a choice of juice or coffee. The egg wrap was surprisingly good. The woman working the pick up window was a pill however. Many staff members were not wearing masks even though they are mandated.

Selected Ruby's inn, which has been around for 100 years, and was very satisfied. Hotel has main building and several surrounding buildings. All located near the main building which has a nice indoor pool and jacuzzi. It also has a nice General Store with groceries since there isn't much else out there. The shuttle for Bryce Canyon is at the street in front of hotel and horseback riding is right across the street. No need to drive anywhere unless you want to.
