We had a great 3 night stay here while we were visiting Glacier National Park. It was a perfect location with restaurants, lounges etc all in walking distance. There’s a beautiful trail along the river to walk/bike down to the beach area. We also went to the Lodge for a few hours , it seems like a great spot to stay, especially with kids as there is a pool, hot tub and beach area. Staying at Firebrand, you get access to the Lodge but not able to use the pool or hot tub area (hot tub isn’t working at Firebrand). We had a drink and some appetizers on the deck at the Lodge, which were excellent! The rooms were clean and very comfortable, we would definitely stay again.

This is the perfect place if you want to be close to the Downtown area. The hotel is very clean, the staff is friendly (Aris was amazing, helpfull and so professional). The bar is quiet, food is very good but life music was the cherry on the top. I will definitely be back very soon.

Great hotel. Clean and well kept. Our flight got cancelled the day we were supposed to arrive. I called the front desk (talked to Max). He was very friendly and understanding. They reimbursed the night we missed AND upgraded our room free of charge. Max was great. Customer service was on point. Somebody give that kid a raise. Seriously. Location was great. Right in town.

Fantastic stay in the middle of everything that happens within the town of Whitefish. If you are staying in town, the Firebrand doesn't disappoint! The food downstairs was great paired with a very attentive staff. Top notch service and the rooms had an amazing view of the town! Will be back!

Bring your own pillow & long underwear; no need for bathing suits.

During our first night the bed was so cold we were miserable and were shivering all night despite wearing long underwear under our pajamas, down vests and wool ski hats to bed. (Apparently in order to save energy the heat had been turned down when the room had been previously vacant, and no one had stayed in room 101 in the preceding weeks). I'm glad I brought my own pillow, as their lumpy high profile foam pillows would have given me a stiff neck. It took me until the third day to try to figure out how to get the small bedside lamps to turn on and off without inadvertently turning on the overhead flood lights. The room was tiny and could only accommodate one chair, albeit one with a broken roller base (they brought in a replacement). We chose this hotel because of the rooftop hot tub, but only after I made an abortive trip to the fourth floor in my bathing suit did I discover a construction site instead. The hot tub apparently had been closed for repairs for a long time. I believe that should have been disclosed in their advertising or at least when we checked in. When I asked about using the hot tub at the Lodge (a sister property with the same ownership), I was told, "No, due to liability concerns". The phone in the room was dead, but that was thankfully repaired. The staff did supply us with an extra blanket for the second and third nights of our stay. At our request they did bring a coffee pot to our room. Despite this myriad of problems, the hotel did NOT comp us anything off our $209 + taxes/night. I would have given the property only a one star review, except the staff did their very best to try to address our concerns.
