This is our family favorite summer get away. It's fun for the whole family the have a baby poo kids pool with slide then the big pool with falls that goes to 8ft and 2 slide.. Its creek side has 3 grills and more... Our room was nice and our bed was firm.. my firm then my like but my husband loved it. Mins from down town we can walk from hotel to the strip down the strip and back to the hotel and it's a easy walk.

Our stay at Brookside resort was peaceful and relaxing. It was very nice to be able to walk to all of the attractions in Gatlinburg and then return to our Room overlooking the tranquil stream. We will be returning soon.

The price was reasonable. This is an older resort. The room we requested was not the one we were given the key to, but the hotel reception changed to the correct room. Additionally, the had charged us $30 extra dollars for our two-night stay. Again, the hotel reception applied a refund to our account. For the money it is a very good resort to stay.

It was Great for the value... No office staff after midnight and we were not told this. This was a major ordeal the first night and they had to call in staff. That was the biggest complaint. BUT, Office staff was amazing at making it up to us. They offered to upgrade our room which we declined. There was no need to. Swimming pool was nice and clean for the teenager boys. Hot breakfast for $5.00 and they were practicing Saftey procedures with Covid. Serving staff was kind and very polite. The walk to downtown was not bad at all.. Stated on the phone it was 15 minutes but only took about 10 and it was a nice walk. AND, no working phone in the rooms!! If you do not have a cellphone make sure your phone in the room works!! Was told after the fires they stopped working. We did not use House keeping but they brought clean towels every day. REMEMBER; NO WORKING PHONES IN THE ROOM or EXTRA BEDING!! This is important in case of a medical emergency... But as long as you know this in advance it’s a nice place to stay. Also, on site laundry and very clean and reasonably rates. Would of given a 5 but I think it’s important to be upfront with customers with no staff after midnight and no working phones in room. I have medical issues: if my kids tried to call 911 there would of been a delay in response time. 08/01/ 2020

The first thing we saw was a back door, my first instinct was to make sure it was locked but I decided to open it. We where pleasantly surprised with a balcony and a beautiful bubbling brook. It was so relaxing to sit and talk after doing a lot of walking on a hot day. The breakfast was more than we thought and was very good. Sausage, biscuits and gravy, potatoes, eggs ... all was very good.
