Clean hotel but dated. Very close to entrance of park. Walking distance to all town restaurants and stores. Loved the wolf facts through the hotel. Very cute touch. Best part about hotel was that you could tell it was clean.

I checked into the hotel for a three night stay. Had a very bad experience right away with the guy working the front desk, believe his name was Brandon. Very blunt and rude with me and other guests that where checking in ahead of me. Rudely yelling at guests for a face mask and also turned down room service for our room. However, the hotel was clean and the housekeeping staff was very helpful! I would stay here again, they just need better people working the front desk as this is the first experience a guest encounters on their stay.

Usually when you walk into a fancy hotel, you are greeted with a smile and someone who is willing to earn your business. Instead, at Gray Wolf Inn, I was greeted by a guy named, Brandon who must really hate his job or in a bad mood. He was not friendly and dang right rude to me and one of my kids. Hang tight, it gets worse. I get the whole mask mandate; however, when half of the guests staying here doesn’t have their mask on and you walk to the lobby to sign up for swimming without a mask on, he rudely advised, “it’s mandated to west a mask all throughout the hotel”. I just glared at him and continued on my way. I was using the bathroom, I hollered for my son to call The front desk to ask for a tampon. Mind you, my son is 10 and has no idea what a tampon is. Brandon informed him to not call the front desk for a joke.. 10 minutes came, no tampon. 20 mins later came and no tampon since he refused our service. Finally I called down and he thought my son was playing a prank on them which makes no sense. We only call for assistance and got told no! This guy needs a new job not working with the public and a major attitude adjustment.

Great price for a location so close

We looked on trip advisor for a lodge close to the West entrance of Yellowstone. It was only about a 3 minute drive. A couple of good restaurants close by, within walking distance. And a small grocery store just a few blocks away. The breakfast was a bit lacking in variety (Maybe due to COVID). The room was clean. Keep in mind if you have kids or if you want to swim you will need to reserve a slot. Be sure to sign up when you make your reservation. In my opinion if you can’t offer all your amenities you should give your customers a discount. Or make them aware.

Stellar location, good amenities.

Gray Wolf was a great choice for our group of 9. The hotel is in an amazing location for those looking to enter Yellowstone, especially for a snowmobile tour. Also convenient for a quick walk into town. The free laundry and continental breakfast were fantastic pluses. Clean rooms, good service.
