Came in with friends to enjoy Yellowstone’s which we did but the stay wasn’t that pleasant, front desk person energy was off which made me uncomfortable. But breakfast was okay and the room was alright but dust was a big issue. Would visit again probably not this hotel though :)

Room was OK, clean. We stayed two nights. We were told one of the elevators were broken only had two and no more than three to four people on the elevator at a time. Elevator at the end of a long hall, our room was on the second floor at the front of the hotel. Next day we were told elevator was fixed. I got on the elevator. The door was open and took it to the first floor at which time the door open to a wooden door with a handle, which would not turn, I pounded on the door. Finally, the door opened and I stepped out of the elevator at that point I noticed a sign on the door on the first floor, stating the elevator was out of order. I went to the front desk and was told the elevator was out of order. I suggested they put a sign on the second floor as the elevator door was open and there was no sign stating it was not working. My feeling was it was working. They just did not want us to use the elevator. We were on a bus tour with Our State Magazine -Trafalgar Tours which was equally bad experience – avoid unless you want to be treated like secondhand citizens after every other bus tour company.

Excellent location and great value in West Yellowstone

We drove up from Salt Lake City and it was worth the trip. We had never been to Yellowstone before and this is as convenient as it gets. Hotel is 5 minutes drive from West Yellowstone park entrance. When we went, the West Yellowstone entrance had just opened so it wasn't too busy. Room was a good size, clean and comfortable. Elevator is slow but big enough for a family or two. Lobby has large breakfast area with coffee always available. Staff was uniformly pleasant and helpful. Morning breakfast was a great plus. Yogurt, fruit, hot cereal, boiled eggs, granola bars, and various breads and bagels, as well as toaster waffles. Food was plentiful and included in our price, which turned a good value into a great value. Parking was a bit competitive alongside the hotel - there are other spaces intended for the cabins but the signage isn't too clear. There is additional parking at the rear (near a rear entrance) and underground parking. Driveway had a few big potholes. We didn't use the pool or laundry facilities. Hotel also offers seating out front with a fire pit and the chance to make S'mores and have hot chocolate. Hotel is a couple of blocks walk from the main downtown West Yellowstone, which has lots of restaurants and shops. Is next door to a McDonald's and across the street from the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center, itself worth the trip.

The location was good. I enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub. It was set back in a quiet area but was close enough for the grocery stores and restaurants and shopping. Loved having the grizzly and Wolf sanctuary across the street. There was also an Imax where we watched a documentary about Yellowstone.

The room was comfortable enough for two of us. Good location. Breakfast was wonderful. Swimming pool definitely for kids only. You cannot count on swimming laps to exercise. We had a funny problem though. Our room was never cleaned. When I complained, the manager of housekeeping came to collect garbage. I believe it is included in the hotel price. I did not need a daily linen change, but light up keeping including for example making beds and bringing more supplies like cups etc.
