Only about a 5-minute drive into town and away from the crowds. We liked that aspect. We had a third floor room with a balcony and an excellent View. The only thing marring it a bit was the fact that the building sits facing the water but there is a street in front which creates a little bit of noise but still The View I think made you not worry about the street. The room was clean and very large, and the beds were very comfortable. The only slight downside to the rooms is that they are a bit outdated and the Furnishings are but still everything looked nice and we were very happy with our room. Parking is a bit of a problem and is on a first come first serve basis. Right now they are constructing another building behind the the main building and that has created a bit of a parking issue with all of the workers in their vehicles. I'm sure that will get resolved eventually. There is no on site restaurant at the Inn but up a rather steep hill there is a breakfast spot which has an outstanding View. However it's a hilly walk and there are parking spots up near the restaurant but not that many that I could see. I'll review the restaurant and parking a little later in a different review. I would definitely recommend staying at The Blue Nose Inn.

Called the front desk, but management was gone for the day. We had to leave the dirty towel outside the door for proof. Yikes! All around the entire floor is dirt. It definitely has not been cleaned for days.

Lovely

Staff very nice and accommodating. The hotel is facing the main road so it got a bit noisy during the day. The restaurant was disappointing, food just so so- but the view is lovely and service great.

The front desk provided us with some great information on places to see and eat. Our room was beautifully decorated, had a gorgeous view and was very comfortable. We used the indoor pool and hot tub nightly, which was great after long hikes in Acadia. The bartender and piano player were both very friendly and were a fantastic way to end our evening.

We had robes, bath and body works shampoo, conditioner, body gel, body lotion, makeup remover, shower cap, kcups. They have indoor and outdoor pool with a sauna and a hot tub! And the glass inn restaurant is delicious. It’s right on the premises. Can walk to town but it’s a good walk. Definitely will stay again!
