There is NO restaurant on sight, mildew in shower, broken door hinges, chipped glasses, phone and fireplace didn’t work. Complaining about this pricey room got me a measly $30 discount. Be forewarned.

Excellent Accommodations But Very Expensive

Very large and spacious room with a sitting area and a fireplace. Bar Harbor close by and can be seen from the balcony. This is a "Class A" Inn. Be prepared to be impressed. Remotely located restaurant requires a short walk.

Charming classic

We had a beautiful corner suite on the 4th floor of the Mizzentop (main building). Very spacious, well appointed. Huge bathroom with double sinks and long counter. Fireplace with french doors opening to nice balcony with gorgeous view of the harbor. Very comfortable. Quite a hike to downtown, a good mile, but we did it at least once if not twice daily. Very convenient for Acadia National Park as well. Staff very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Great location, superior views of the harbor, and Bill.

The views from our window and front porch just outside the door were spectacular. In fact, we could see the sunrise without even getting out of bed! Location is very good (not immediately downtown Bar Harbor, but about 1 mile away). The breakfast was adequate; our room was in the Stenna Nordic building which is a bit dated. The main building (Mizztop) is newer and a step up. We went to listed to Bill T. on the grand piano both nights of our stay. His playing is outstanding, and we enjoyed the conversation with him as well. The Great room area and bar are very nice. All in all I would recommend.

Clean, wonderful view from the Mizzentop, excellent coffee, towels, bathrobes and pool with hot tub and sauna.

We wanted to splurge a little and get a nice room in Bar Harbor, what a wonderful idea. The pool, hot tub and sauna are not in the same building where your room is, but unbeknownst to us, there Was a changing room in that building. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub And sauna for a few moments. We did not have breakfast there as we got up early, took pics of the sunrise from our room and then went back to sleep. Everyone there seemed very friendly and helpful, we would definitely stay again.
