This was our second visit to the Bluenose Inn. The last time was 15 years ago and we thoroughly enjoyed our 2nd visit. We had a very spacious suite in Mizzentop to enjoy the fabulous Bay views. . We loved the fireplace and the huge bathroom with double vanities. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The great room with fireplace was a nice place to sit an relax with a glass of wine, read or in the evening listen to the live entertainment. The Looking Glass restaurant had exceptional dining with fabulous Bay views. The Inn is about a 15-20 minute walk to downtown . It was a wonderful stay for us!

We had suite 426. Best in the hotel. Huge views. Big rooms. Nice balcony. Fireplace. Massage chair. Two big TVs. A cleaner who was proud of her work and did great job. Nice people who solved problems when they arose. Close to everything but far enough away from he crowds. A little quirky in some ways but the views are stupendous. Continental breakfast leaves a little to be desired.

This was our anniversary weekend and we got to enjoy the stay. Very close to town and Acadia which was perfect. Beautiful views as well. Next time we'll come during the regular season and not at the end of the season

Property is a bit dated but has a great view

The room we were booked in, though spacious, was a bit dated and needed refurbishing. We noticed dust too, on the legs of the table in the room. Continental breakfast was ok and had the basics. The main dining area was outside the hotel area, and you would have to do a bit of walking up a slight incline. Bar Harbor has a free shuttle service called the Island Explorer, which took you around town and had stops at some hotels. It didn't have a stop at this hotel. You'd have to get off at the hotel beside it.

We were delayed in the drive from Boston and Logan called us about 830PM to verify are arrival. The lounge/bar area with the fireplace, nightly music and great views is a wonderful place to relax. The facility is older, but the room was large and clean. We even slept through the bomb cyclone that hit the night we arrived. The location is close to town center Bar Harbor, but with less traffic.
