The cruise was canceled by Zephyr Cove due to high winds. They charged my credit card and despite several calls have not given my money back. What a ripoff, beware.!!!

Many things don’t work (Wi-Fi, cable, restrooms, people who appear to be employed to rake campsites). There are no deals, you pay a rate for an upscale rv park, pay to park across the street in their lot by the beach so you can go to the beach bar/ snack bar and yet they have no staff support. Many sweet but utterly untrained people. It’s a shame to see what a loss and by the way this is on OUR forestry land run by a concessionaire. They don’t put the $ back where they extrude it.

Worst cabin.

The cabin should of been maintained and pest free upon my arrival. My husband and I was really upset and went to the office and told them how the cabin was, all they did was came and swab the web. The manager didn't even offer to move us to a different cabin at all. Never going back. Very disappointed

I wouldn't waste time with these property

This was a MONTH In advance. Apparently, any cancellations or changes result in a $20 charge. I guess it specified that online when booking the reservation, and I must have missed it. I decided to cancel the reservation and go somewhere else.
I most likely missed it because I have never been charged anywhere for a fully refundable reservation cancelled far in advance. I think it is really tacky and it leaves a poor taste in my mouth. I asked her to waive the fee and she declined.

Published Date: Nov, 5, 2022 Travel Date: Nov, 1, 2022 Rating: 2 Zephyr Cove communication with us was very poor. We arrived after dark at 6:30 pm on November 3. The registration desk was closed even though it was supposed to be open until 8pm. Everything was dark and locked up. The only phone number displayed on the wall connected us with a young security staffer who told us our key was in an envelope on a bulletin board facing the campground. After searching for the bulletin board in the dark for 15 minutes, we finally found it but our envelope wasn't on the bulletin board. I called the security number again and the staffer had to go to the main office and look for our reservation. 10 minutes later he called back; they had spelled our last name wrong (it's only four letters!) and had forgotten to post it on the bulletin board. It took us over 30 minutes in the dark in 30-degree temperature to finally get into our cabin, which was a different number than the cabin we'd been told it would be in an email. We were so frustrated we almost drove back home. Aside from all this, the cabin was warm and the bed comfortable, so our fuming eventually dissipated. We won't be staying at Zephyr Cove again, however, and we won't be recommending it to anyone.
