We went for breakfast which was a fabulous menu and the food was served freshly cooked and plenty of it. The location is lovely and easy access to beach to walk along and take in the views of the lake. Well worth the effort to drive and get breakfast.

We stayed 3 nights and it was great! Of course when you’re staying in a little cabin there’s going to be small problems, but we had a great time and really enjoyed ourselves. We rented a one bedroom cabin on the lakefront. The parking place out front and the walkway were already dug oug from the previous snow storm. The cabin was preheated, I asked when we arrived because of a previous review. The “fireplace” in the living area doesn’t blow warm air, so you have to leave it on. He heaters in the bedroom and the bathroom worked great. Everything else worked in the cabin. With a full sized refrigerator you can stock up from the Safeway down the road. After our arrival there was an overnight blizzard. When we got up in the morning there was snow piled up on the deck and out to the buried car. Ever prepared, I suited up and dug us out with the supplied snow shovel. The snow was very light, even if it was 2’ deep. One of the reasons we stayed at the resort was because we were going on one of their snowmobiling tours. That worked out great, we could walk to the lodge, check in and head back to our cabin until departure time. We left a pair of earrings, contacted the resort and they found them and FedExed them to us in a matter of days. Our stay exceeded our expectations from start to finish.

Disappointing stay!

My family and I have stayed a Zypher cove cabins a few times. We loved the location and the little cabins. However this time we where put in to cabin 25. When we got to the cabin it was freezing in side. The heater was off and it was 20 degrees outside. It took the heater 3 hours to warm up the cabin. The light switch in the bathroom was bad and we had no lights. They did come to fix it the next day in the afternoon. We were staying 2 nights and planned to cook dinner one of those nights. We had placed a pot of water on the stove and turned it on high. It sat there for an hour and never got hot. I was told at check out that the heater was supposed to be on so it would be warm in the cabin. If we ever go back we wont be staying in cabin 25.

My wife and I stopped because this place was reccomend by some locals, and they said it was good but slow, we had some time so what the heck? Well it was not good at all, the food was cold and over cooked, the water glass had lipstick smear on it, and when I tried to wave someone over they went into the back, our server was so slow I grew a beard waiting, dont waste your time or your money here.

Remodeled in late 2013 to include a seasonal outdoor deck for dining, the Zephyr Cove Restaurant - more affectionately referred to as The Lodge - is reminiscent of its original design from the early 1900s. The dining room is adorned with a large, stone fireplace that is situated between windows lining three sides of the quaint room, exposing views of the lake and the mountains through nestled pine trees; creating a beautiful dining atmosphere. The staff is great, the food is GREAT and I always love a situation that allows one to walk back in time. This was that type of thing. The Restaurant has been redone and the food is great, but the ambiance is from the era of Route 66, kids in the station wagon, the windows down and the family out to see the rest of America!! An amazing stop in time with good food, great view and great staff. If you are out that way, don’t miss it!!!
