Built by a Smart Car owner:caution any rig over 14’
Wow this is a ridiculous place to park a big rig.
We are only 31’ and we had 2” to spare to open our slide.
None of the pads are level- so be sure to have things to level out.
I open my door and must hug a tree to get out of my trailer.
The reservation system has a lot of work to be done... takes forever to finally speak to a human.
Oh ya and then there isn’t anyone at the check in desk- but they offer a ‘after hours phone’...but don’t worry you won’t get to speak to a human on it at all!!!!
Then you can spend 5 more minutes on their phone line to finally get directions across the highway.
You have to cross the highway to the restaurant and find out what site you have and then hopefully have a few fellow campers help in getting around the very tight road, corners, trees, and other sites.
Sorry this place doesn’t have any RV owner in mind when they built it that isn’t in a short rig. Lovely trees on the property but Lordy it is ridiculous to try and park.
Thankfully some fellow RVers helped us navigate all the obstacles to finally park.
Too bad all the forestry sites have closed for the winter would have loved to back into one of their sites compared to this place.

Worst Paid Lodging Experience
I'm laying in bed at 11:15pm at night as cleaners work on the roof right outside the window. I asked them how much longer they have, 1.5 more hours!!! I called the after hours contact number (because they don't have front desk staff after 7:00pm) and the security guard that answered said there's nothing he can do. So, instead of sleeping because of the power washing, vacuuming and literal wall banging going on I'm writing reviews to warn others not to stay here!!!!!!!!

Beautiful Campground and easy access to the Beach
My group and I came without knowing the area and we were fascinated by the place. It is beautiful and very clean. The campground area has showers with Hot water which I appreciate it. We ha great time and the views were breathtaking.

Four nights with a group
We had six sites reserved, but they had us spaced out at the far end of the park. The good news was that it's quieter there as the sites next to the highway would be extremely noisy. The sites are uneven, with very little usable space as they are built into the side of a hill. It is right across the highway from the beach and pier. The wifi is unusable unless you go sit outside the office.

Fun but beware of hidden fees
Rented a boat for 4 hours. Lots of fun, boat and staff were great. You pay when you return the boat. The rental fee doesn’t include a $35 per hour fuel fee. Yes it’s in the contract but it’s not obvious at all. The admit people question it all the time. Still had sheets time but final bill left a bad taste.
