All good except…..!!!!
Everything went well at check in. The room was much bigger than we needed… a separate bedroom from the living room. More than what we thought we’d get. Comfortable king size bed. We were in Room 272 which is directly above the office, meaning that I awoke at 3:00am hearing a television and singing. I’d fall back asleep anyway. Around 7:00am we heard a washing machine spinning fairly loudly. About an hour after we checked out while having coffee downtown, I realized I had left my I-Pad Faraday cover on the bathroom counter. We went back and spoke to the woman in the office who gave me the key to get back in the room. The room had already been cleaned and there was no I-Pad Faraday cover. I saw a cleaning lady in the hallway and spoke to her about it. She said she hadn’t seen it while not being able to look me in the eye. I know where I left it and no one else had been in the room. Why would she lie? What good does stealing and lying about it do? I was pissed, but what could I do? I’ll tell you what. If you look at any of my TripAdvisor reviews, you will see that I’ve never written a bad review. I only write reviews when restaurants and hotels go above and beyond the call of duty and give me exceptionally good service. This is a first. I’m sorry I had to write it, but thought that, at least, the office manager should know about the antics of their cleaning lady.

good value for the money
Good location, clean and friendly. Good price compared to other budget hotels in the area. No negative things to say really as it was a good price for a clean and comfortable room. Will stay there again.

I made a reservation for a 2 queen room several months before my arrival on Sept. 30th. Upon arrival, I was placed in a 1 king bed room suite that had a sofabed queen. Front desk staff said my reservation was for the 1 king suite. This is absolutely incorrect. I had my hard copy reservation in hand to prove otherwise. They basically stated: "Sorry" there are no 2 queen rooms available. You can use the sofabed. Additionally, I was charged the rate for the suite! (later these charges aresuppose to be amended) The hotel blamed the Wyndham reservations/rewards site. There also was no coffee maker or ice bucket in the room(s) as described in the room descriptions on the web-site.
Certainly do your due-dilligence before you use a Wyndham property.
I would st

Motel in a hotel town
This hotel is located south of downtown on the highway, but up away from the noise a bit. The rooms are more like a motel. The lobby is nice and they had a generous breakfast. If you want to come to Whitefish on a budget this is a good spot. There are other hotels that make you feel more exclusive in town for a bit more.
