We stayed three nights at the Brandin' Iron Inn at the beginning of October. At check-in, we requested a ground-floor room with a king bed. The desk clerk said there weren't any available, so we agreed to take a room with two queen beds. After clicking on the keyboard for a few minutes, he said, "Wait - I've found you a good room." It wasn't just a room - it was an apartment! There was a full kitchen with full-size refrigerator, living room, separate bedroom with king bed, and a large bathroom. Everything was spotlessly clean. This unit had obviously been designed to be used by an on-site manager as it was directly next to the lobby and had a sign that said "Private" on the door instead of a room number. Regardless, it was a most pleasant surprise after staying in cramped accommodations the previous few nights. Only downside to this room was the windows were covered by old miniblinds that let in so much light that we had trouble sleeping. Being on the ground floor, we heard every step made by our upstairs neighbors. Their TV noise was also very noticable. Luckily we had quiet neighbors two of the three nights. Breakfast was served every morning in a separate building. The menu did not change from day to day, so we opted to go out to a restaurant the third morning. But the breakfast offerings were plentiful and good. On-site laundry was convenient, even though some of the machines were out of order. We would definitely stay at this property again in the future!

The location of this hotel was great. Our room was laid out weird..two double beds but one was 3’ from the bathroom. Mold in the shower. Pillows were lumpy. We got a first floor room so we could park right outside our room which was great for unloading and reloading the car. There was a it laundry room right across the parking lot from us which was convenient. there was a campground right across from us. Can’t imagine anyone wanting to camp in a parking lot but whatever.

Friendly staff and the rooms are clean. Enjoyed our stay. Breakfast is pretty good. The room could use a little maintenance but they have also been very busy. Hopefully they take care of those little things if it ever slows down. Overall good value considering the prices in this area.

Great location, but not worth the money

We split up a two-day trip to Yellowstone National Park, first staying in West Yellowstone and the next night in Gardiner. But for the fact that this place was close to the park entrance, I would’ve canceled my reservation. The room was not as advertised and I didn’t really feel safe there, despite being with my husband and our dog. In hindsight I should’ve booked us a room at the Best Western. 🤨

We stayed here for our west entrance into Yellowstone. We were definitely disappointed in the accommodations. We were placed in the back annex close to where all the campers were staying. Our room was in need of major renovation, especially the bathroom, we had 1 Queen bed ( even though we reserved 2) , it was noisy all night and the price was very high. The only positive thing I can say is the front desk staff was friendly and the breakfast was decent. I'd shop around for better choice
