Our room was freshly prepared daily with clean towels and a well made bed to return to at the end of a very busy day outdoors.

Cindy at the front desk is a fan of Yellowstone and is great at sharing her experiences. Cousin and his teenage son and I had 2 rooms for 6 nights while snowmobiling in and around the park. The morning breakfast was helpful at getting us on our way early each day. The maintenance staff was great at keeping snow around the parking area clear. No small job. Between the two rooms we misplaced our room keys a couple times. Those snowmobile suits have a lot of pockets. Put the front desk was quick to fix things. Recommend great restaurants for dinner. Snowmobile parking including trailers was close and plentiful. I hope to return again soon.

Front desk staff were a pleasure to meet and chat with, room was immaculate & bed comfortable, and breakfast was better than the usual and staffed with super friendly people. They also had a good off-season rate. Was also an easy walk down the street to numerous restaurants still open in late October.

Really good buffet breakfast and nice dining area. Only drawback was the old tired mattresses on the beds. We stayed in 7 different motels on this particular trip. Some were budget motels and some were high end motels. This was the only place we stayed that had crummy mattresses.

Great Yellowstone base

Positives: Location was superb. You can be to the park gates in about 2 minutes. You are also walking distance to just about any store or restaurant in West Yellowstone. The room itself was clean and comfortable. The heat worked well as the nights were very chilly. Housekeeping was done each and every day (which is not so common anymore). Shower temp and pressure were good. Plenty of coffee supplies were provided. There was also a nice desk to use and the TV was adequate.
Negatives: I didn’t care for breakfast and it was very crowded so I opted for the Running Bear Pancake House, a short drive away.
100% I would stay here again and make this my base for exploring Yellowstone.
