Great older hotel. The whole area of Gardiner is laid back and cool! The hotel is right on the river with a background of hills and mountains . Yellowstone is right there! The hotel had fire pits going and ingredients for s'mores. The restaurant attached to the complex was great too. Walking distance to everything! Wildlife right around you too The room itself was comfy. Would definitely recommend the Ridgeline

Highly Recommend

Very clean. Bed was comfortable and bedding was nice. Shower had great water pressure. Our room was next to the river and the sound of the water running which was very peaceful. They have a really nice fire pit which was warm and we relaxing after our long drive.

Pick your room very, very carefully

Been here a few times before, and have always had a solid, good nights sleep. Maybe I have been lucky, as there are always a surprising number of people staying here The front desk are excellent. Young, enthusiastic, caring, engaged and helpful. The rooms vary hugely. There are expensive ones over looking the river, but the river and mountainside sound great, but are pretty bleak. Not worth the extra. The second floor twin rooms in the main building are OK, but very dark, with a horrible view of new, hideous looking cabins. Don’t, whatever you do, get a ground floor room, as there will be little natural light, and you’ll be looking at a wall a few feet away. I did OK, but pick your room with great care

Nothing special

Room was a nice size with reasonably comfortable beds. Fairly clean but quite dated. Luckily we had a river view room but the other side rooms were not so lucky. Close to park entrance so fairly convenient. Nit many options in this area. OK for a day or two.

So So

Not what I expected. Some parts seem updated, others not so much. Not as clean as would be my preference. The sink counter hit mid thigh (I am 5'10") but it is not an accessible room so a wheel chair cannot fit under, good for kids I guess. Convenient location right at the North Entrance of Yellowstone. No breakfast included.
