Nice Hotel, Unhelpful front dest
I stayed here Sept 26 2019. Upon check in they said I did not have a reservation. Lady at the front desk suggested I was at the wrong hotel. After going out to the car and returning with printed proof of prepayment, they let me stay. On Nov. 1, I saw a charge on my credit card, the front desk charged me a $10.99 amenities fee. When I called them, they said they were sorry, but did not offer to remove the charge from my card. I think it is shady of all hotels in general that they do not let you know how much the room really cost. They should change their voicemail message, the person on the voice message you listen to sounds annoyed. Listen to it, the tone of voice is a preview of how you will be treated in person.
I liked the pool and the outdoor firepits.

Comfortable Rooms, Great Location
For the most part we enjoyed our stay at The Ridgeline. We stayed in a room with a fireplace, which , once we figured out how to turn it on, was pleasant, An instruction sheet on operating the fireplace would have been welcome. Having difficulty walking distances, the pain of a long walk was averted by a staff member who stopped me in the hall to tell me that the elevator right next to our room was okay to use, even though it was marked, for employees only, The walk from the door to the other elevator was quite difficult, so I appreciated the staff member telling me to use the closer elevator. The steps from the lobby to the elevator to the room also presented a long distance walk from the steps, to the ramp and up the ramp. Another couple complained to me that it was ridiculous to have steps to get to the elevator level, as they were pulling their rolling luggage up the ramp. Other than that , the Ridgeline was very clean and the furniture was comfortable. The lounge was very nice and the s'mores in the evening was an added bonus. My only other comment is that on the parking lot on the hotel rooms and elevator level, needs more handicap parking stalls. Both evenings that we came back to the hotel, both ADA parking spots were taken. This is a very large parking lot and there are only 2 ADA spots on that level. I suggest adding a few more so a long walk is not necessary.

Kids loved it
Great location! Kids loved the large pool and game room. Stayed in a poolside room. Great little patio just above the pool. Perfect for those who have older kids and just need to keep an eye on them without being in the water. However, the t.v can be a little loud and the rooms tend to be a little darker with the lack of windows in poolside rooms. The restaurant was decent.. the kids loved the milk shakes and the servers were fantastic. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

No Housekeeping Noisy Pool
At first when we checked in we were given the choice for complimentary drinks in exchange for no housekeeping. Red flag! We chose housekeeping and found an old box of food in the trash can of our room which stunk. We got a different room but got no housekeeping. The pool seems nice but closes at 11 pm and people have parties with kids screaming keeping us up and the staff can’t do anything about it. We tried handling it ourselves but got ignored. The have s’mores kits so we took our child to enjoy the fire pit outside and make them but got run off by a party next to us smoking weed. Might be great if this is your cup of tea but not for us!

Kids loved it!
Comfortable bed, hot shower, nice amenities. Kids loved watching movies while swimming, playing in the game room, riding bikes and s'mores by the fire pit. I laughed when I read the other review about the bedside lamps, as my daughter and husband made the same comments. Annoying yes, deciding factor on whether or not to stay at hotel, no. We did not dine at the hotel but front desk staff was friendly and efficient, especially when I accidentally knocked my glasses behind the headboard. Hotel was conveniently located in town and within easy access to both Fall River and Beaver Meadows RMNP entrances. Overall experience was very pleasing and will look to stay at the Ridgeline Hotel next visit to Estes Park.
