When I checked in they did not tell me there would be no room cleaning or restocking of towels. Day 2, I thought they just overlooked it. Day 3 I called and requested room service and they said they would be there just as soon as the staff arrived (I called early am). Still no room service. No towels or clean linen in the room. Day 4, I checked out and returned home. They only stocked two bath towels and 2 washcloths for a 3 night stay. Never showed up to clean or restock. Also, there was a desk in the room for using my laptop, but NO CHAIRS! I had to sit on the bed and use the laptop on my lap, which I hate doing. Cannot place it on the bed because it would block the fan.

Help in all areas were great, friendly and helpful. Amenities in room are cheap. bathroom small hard to find places for personal items. styrofoam cups for coffee in room, Cooking smells from adjacent rooms, many dogs at all levels. Dogs supposed to be in one area only - not true. Elevator to above floors was filthy. No coffee or any breakfast in lobby. Have to leave hotel go into town or nearby fastfood for breakfast. A $15 per night charge for wifi, advertised as free. Should be rated as an economy hotel and not as 3star at $170 per night. REminds me of a student hostel, Never again.

GOOD: Great Location. Right outside the RMNP. The drive to hotel was beautiful. We had 11 in our group and 3 rooms. The Server at the bar was awesome! She kept our drinks flowing and was very nice. She might of been new at this job, but she did and excellent job keeping up with us.. We ordered some appetizers and WOW they were amazing! Get the nachos, they come out in a skillet and were delicious. They have fire pits all over the hotel and we already had things to make s'mores, so we asked for some skewers on a whim.. Pleasantly surprised they DID have them AND have pre made s'mores kits!! totally made our day! We adults thought that was pretty neat. O.K. NOW THE BAD: We arrived at 4:00 check in time.... Front desk started checking us in then back tracked saying our rooms were not ready. She said let me call my manager and see how much longer. She told us house keeping was just finishing up and it would be a few minutes.. We said ok....Meantime our 3 vehicles were outside and spouses were loading our luggage onto luggage carts. ( we had a lot of stuff being on a 10 day National Park tour) She told us to stop unloading as our rooms were going to be around the back and its' going to be easier to unload by our rooms. No problem. We went to bar and 20 min later our rooms were ready. She told our group we would get an "upgrade" because our rooms were not ready on time....OK Great we thought!! THEN we were told to go ahead and unload in lobby area that our rooms were now inside.. OMG!! we were doing that when we were told to stop!! Husbands were not happy, but since we were getting "upgraded' rooms we thought ok its worth it....NO elevator for luggage cart on 1st floor. So we had to walk down hallway to a wheelchair accessible walk way to push cart up to the elevator. big pain in the you know what! But hey then again we were getting an upgraded room! LOL YEA RIGHT!! I would of hated to see the non upgraded room. This was clearly a joke.. The rooms are outdated...And view was of another building. Our friends looked at the top of a buildings AC units.. LOL. I was more upset they said we would get an updated room than the room itself. Yes they were clean and were actually good for us BUT DO NOT TELL US WE ARE GETTING AN UPGRADED ROOM (SEVERAL TIMES) AND GIVE US THAT! It ended up being the "joke" of our trip. ANOTHER GOOD NOTE: another front desk girl did end up being super helpful with us getting into RMNP. Apparently during season if you can't get into the park before 9am you'll need a reservation?? Stupid Colorado rules due to covid?? She did her best to find out if we could get tickets. We could not see park on our trip, But she told us about a "Peek to Peek' scenic rout that we really enjoyed. I would not stay here again. But then again as beautiful as Colorado was, I wont be back until that state gets over covid restrictions like practically all other states have.. It was terrible.

When I walked in I had already looked at several travel sites and seen this one had open rooms, I said to the women at the front desk I would like to get a room and she said we are booked for tonight. (I should’ve taken that as a hint) it was 9 pm, we’d been driving all day and we 3 year old was ready for bed so my husband called to ask why they were available on every travel site without a real room available. She “double checked” and a room, the “king deluxe” she called it, was available. What. A. Joke. There was absolutely no deluxe about this, if so, I would hate to see a standard room. We walk in to a gross smell of someone tried to cover up smoke with cologne (it didn’t work) no lights, other than one lamp by the bed worked, the bathroom was eh and the air conditioner barely worked, I was so hot all night long. For $175/night, are you kidding?! Do not do it, it doesn’t matter what time it is, go some where else, it’s not worth it.

Great place, lots of fun, exceptional staff

They have a such extremely helpful and friendly staff, great facilities and common areas, all clean and modern. We can not stress enough how wonderful ALL of the staff was!!! The common area had various seating groupings, a small pool table, table shuffle board, bar, fireplace, pool, hot tub, restaurant, TVs, some concessions and souvenirs. I highly recommend this place! We had a very bad experience at the Stanley and have heard that is a common problem. We are so glad that someone recommended this place instead. We look forward to coming back.
