I’ll Be Back!
I’ve always passed by the Sonora Inn going to the surrounding areas and was always curious. Decided to finally stay and had a really good time. Nice staff, clean with a reasonable price. Diffidently will be marking a return visit. Nice little town. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Stayed while house hunting
The rooms have a musty smell that goes away after being inside the room for half an hour and running the AC. The mini fridge worked extremely well . The inn has a lot of charm . Bedding was comfortable but the pillows need replacing. Staff is friendly . The pool is fair in size, goes to 7 feet and is kept clean . It offers a beautiful view of the foothills as you lay to sunbath. Continental breakfast was basic yet satisfying. Excellent coffee. The inn is at the heart of downtown. Parking is along the inn or across the street at the Bank of America(free-no charge), they give you a slip to place on your dashboard. I’d stay here again.

Historic hotel in center of town
This hotel is historic/old and largely shows it. It has a great location, in the center of downtown. Checking in, I was warmly greeted by the helpful man behind the desk. I was concerned about parking, as there is not a dedicated lot, but he supplied a pass for my dashboard that allowed me to leave my car in the spot I'd found on the street or move it to the B of A lot across the street.
I booked at the lowest rate available and had minimal expectations, so was not surprised when the room I was given had windows facing and about a foot away from the wall of another building. The room was clean and the retro bathroom was very cute. However, there was only one overhead light, and insufficient lighting for reading in bed.
When I went back to the desk, the gentleman apologized and
brought a table lamp right up. As he was plugging it in, I noticed the absence of a closet, dresser or any place to store clothing, and after I noted this, he said he would move me to another room next door. The second room had adequate lighting and space for clothing, as well as a small sitting area and a renovated bathroom. Everything was clean, absent the tired carpet, and the room was comfortable and cozy.
The pool and adjoining terrace had a nice mountain view, and breakfast offered cereal, hard-boiled eggs, waffles, pastries, toast and English muffins, buffet style.
Overall, I think the hotel is fine, if you’re not expecting the Ritz, and could be even better with some freshening up.

Work and fun
Perfect place for work and fun. Convenient location with pool. At the center of town but still quiet. This was my second visit. I love staying here. The staff is professional and thoughtful. With breakfast bar downstairs, I never have to leave. I get so much work done.

I recently stayed 1 night, were cool and historic place! Comfortable beds and great customer service! Especially Anna at the front desk! I was recently fitted with a prostatic leg, she made sure I was comfortable. When I checked out, she wheeled out my luggage and I was parked 2 blocks away! It's customer service like this that will send me back! Thanks Anna!
