Peaceful oasis in the mountains

My husband and I are from Oregon and took an extended trip to visit family in the Midwest. We added a 4 night stay at the Buckhorn Inn after coming across it online and feel so fortunate to have found it. The hospitality was marvelous. We enjoyed the company of other guests as they shared hiking tips, felt pampered by the attentive staff, and basked in the setting in the mountains. The food was excellent. We will be forever spoiled by our wonderful experience there!

An overall pleasant experience. Checked every box: great and friendly staff; clean and comfortable room; peaceful environment, inside and outside; outstanding prepared and great tasting breakfast and dinner meals. Noticed that the guests we had an opportunity to interact with seemed to be refreshed, relaxed, and very cordial. Buckhorn Inn is a real gem!

Amazing historical lodge and cabins. We rented a cbain for a birthday weekend and loved every minute of it. The staff and owners are excellent and everything was so personable. The charm and views are amazing. We are definitely coming back even if we are locals.

The cabins are cute, well equipped, and extremely clean. We appreciated the screened porch and the lovely walkway to the main house. The views are terrific and the property is lovely. We have already planned to return. The service staff were pleasant and knowledgeable about the area.

Charming …Beautiful.. Peaceful..does not do justice to Buckhorn Inn..you are made to feel special and made to feel at home… from the Inn Keepers to the housekeeping people and everyone in between… The food is the most delicious to be found anywhere in the world! My husband and I have gone to Buckhorn Inn for years and fall more in love with Buckhorn Inn every time we go! The only thing that makes leaving bearable is knowing we have reservations to return!!
