From the initial contact to the final checkout, everything was wonderful. We wanted a quiet place to celebrate our 30th anniversary and were not disappointed. The property is very well maintained and the staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. We stayed in Cottage 5 a newer version of the original 1938 constructed ones. It was clean and very cutely decorated - it felt more like a small home than a hotel. We chose the Anniversary Special Package which was well worth it on balance of purchasing the things separately. The clientele was more on the older adult side which contributed to the sedate atmosphere, but also the large property with a walking trail, small lake with swans, and beautiful flower gardens. Downtown Gatlinburg is 10 minutes away and just down the road is an arts community of various craftsman specialty. If you want a relaxed place where you can just chill, Buckhorn Inn is the place. I will add, it is not set up for mobility impaired individuals.

We enjoyed a lovely 3 night stay in cabin 5. The views of the mountains from the screened in porch and living area were spectacular. The cabin was great. The only issue was the bed was too soft needed to be firmer. The grounds of the inn are well kept and gorgeous. The nature trail walk to the pond was beautiful. The breakfast was excellent and there were plenty of delicious options. We would recommend eating dinner at least once as it is well worth the price. The inn is conveniently located outside of the busy town and about 10 minutes to the national park entrance. We highly recommend staying here and plan to return. Thank You for a wonderful stay!

Lovely, comfortable room (Premier #2), with a warm & friendly staff. Breakfast and dinners are delicious! Lee & John have created a premier B & B welcoming you like a guest in their own home. View from the dining room is peaceful and serene. Enjoyed the nature trail along the property taking in the gardens and the pond with the swans.

Perfect place for a relaxing, comfortable visit to the Smokies.

This was our first time at the Inn and we will definitely be back! Our cottage was perfectly appointed, extremely comfortable, providing everything needed for a pampered stay. The grounds were beautiful; our cottage had a stunning view of Mt. LeConte. Breakfast provided with our reservation was delicious. And we are so glad that we reserved dinners two nights as well. So much better than having to get back into the hustle of Gatlinburg - and definitely scrumptious. We plan to make this a regular getaway.
