The accommodations were great. Dated but absolutely charming and unique! Extremely clean, plenty of towels (even some for the hot tub!) and very comfortable beds. We arrived to the Chalet room to an electric fireplace a-blazing and soft rock on the tv. Lights were turned on and it was very welcoming after a hike up Mt Ranier in the fog! We were treated to a bag of Halloween candy and an electric s’mores machine with all the accompaniments! Breakfast in the fridge/freezer when we arrived was wonderful to have whenever we woke up. Communication was incredible!! From the booking, their direction's by car, directions to lock box, restaurants and an entire book of info about the area was fabulous!! My only negative thought is the lighting could be a bit more thought out - too bright in the kitchen, too dim in the bathroom, but that is my only complaint! I’d highly recommend this place!!!

We had a comfortable stay at the inn. We had the Taos Suite and it was very clean and welcoming after a day at Mt Ranier. Breakfast options were organized in the kitchen along with tea and coffee service to eat at your leisure. Since it was fire season, we couldn’t access the outdoor fire pit, but we were able to make smores with an electric unit indoors, which was cute. The only reason for a star take. Off is if there was some way to minimize the amount of bites to read on how to access locks, and various services available within the inn. Better, if the owners could type out the notes in a larger font to see. Difficult to read some of the handwritten notes and when you are exhausted from driving/touring all day it makes it a challenge. Thanks for the hospitality!

We stayed for 3 nights in the Tao room in the main inn. This is a really unique inn in a beautiful country setting with owners that truly care about your experience. Check in was very clear and easy and our room and the rest of the facility super clean. Room was spacious, very comfortable, and quiet. Big comfortable bathroom; even night lights are provided in the bathroom and hallway. While the owners are in their own RV on site, they left helpful and clear instructions throughout the inn and are available when needed. We liked the convenience of eating breakfast ,even at 6 AM, as we wanted to get an early start to Mt. Rainier. Tea and hot chocolate available at all times. Very comfortable living room with interesting books on the local area. Very helpful guide book in the room (worth reading upon arrival!). There is also seating throughout the beautiful grounds and a hot tub, though we were too tired each night after long hikes at Mt. Rainier! Would highly recc. staying here.

This hotel was fantastic! It feels more like a bed and breakfast than a traditional hotel, as our room was one of three in what feels like an old farmhouse with a shared living room, dining room, kitchen, and huge front porch. There is also a separate building with several more rooms, though guests in those rooms do not have access to the shared spaces within the main house – this is only available to the 3 rooms actually in the main house. and the owners live onsite in a trailer. Each day, the owners left provisions for the morning’s breakfast (granola, yogurt, milk, bagels, juice) and readied the coffee machine so that we could eat on our own timeline. They also left smore provisions in the dining room, should you want to make smores by the property’s firepit. The property itself is located just outside of town, giving it a secluded “in the middle of nature” feel, while still being very close to everything. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch watching the deer in the forested yard and reading from the selection of books housed in the shared living room. The owners also provide a helpful guide about Mount Rainier National Park, with maps and details about all of the available hikes. We stayed in the Tao suite, which is entered from the living room. It is thus separated from the other two rooms, which are both accessed from a hallway off the dining room. It felt very private! Upon entering the Tao suite, you find yourself in a private hallway, from which you can access both the bedroom and bathroom. Our room was nicely furnished, cozy feeling, and spacious, with a couch, desk, comfortable bed, full-length mirror, and windows on 3 sides. I liked that there was separate heating and AC we could control both within the bedroom and the bathroom (which was also spacious). One thing I didn’t love, however, is that the door to this private hallway off the living room did not have a key lock on it that we could lock while we were gone, and only had a latch that you could pull across from the inside (no deadbolt). Meanwhile, the door to the bedroom and the bathroom DID have actual key locks, so rather than just locking the door to the entire suite you had to lock both the bathroom and bedroom doors. We didn’t want to lock ourselves in the bedroom or out of the bathroom while we were sleeping, so we were relying on the hallway door’s latch. With that said, the area is very safe, and the owners ask that the front door to the house be kept locked, so we were never concerned for our safety or belongings while we were sleeping.

Mountain Meadows is the most beautiful, peaceful, clean, comfortable Inn that we have ever stayed in. The management was kind, thoughtful and extended incredible hospitality. We loved out room It was so accommodating with lovely furniture, great kitchen facility, and artfully decorated. It is close to the National Park, restaurants, and hiking trails. The facility included plenty of outside places to sit, read, or contemplate nature. We will definitely make this place a regular vacation spot.
