Staff was friendly and a hot breakfast was provided each morning and eating in the porch was lovely. . Proximity to Acadia National Park was perfect. Rooms were clean and inviting. Would absolutely go back!

The moment we checked in on Monday I smelled something fowl in the room. I know from traveler reviews that there would be a musty smell however this smelled like dog feces near the doorway so I kept thinking maybe it was sewage or something. However the smell progressively got stronger and when we looked onto the shelf area above the coat hanger we saw something rolled up in toilet paper. I discovered that it was human feces that was left there from a previous traveler. I alerted the staff on the property. As I think about the situation I'm upset at the fact that my family had to sleep in a room with human feces but also I started to question how thoroughly the room was cleaned after the previous person checked out, but also if the previous traveler was sick enough to place their poop on the shelf what other uncleanly behavior they may have engaged in considering my two young children played with their toys on the floor and whatnot. Think twice before booking here!

Very nice property. Good logistics into downtown. Great parking. Good breakfast. Lovely room. Staff very cordial and welcoming. The one outlier was a detached young lady at the front desk. It was perceived as inconvenient to ask her anything. Unfortunate as the rest of the stay was brilliant.

Warm, hospitable, cozy. Centrally located and convenient to everything. Loved the cleanliness, tasteful decor, and would come come again. The staff, especially Jesse, made us feel at home and were eager to ensure a memorable stay. Looking forward to visiting again!

Fabulous location central walking distance to restaurants and shops. Great parking. Room had small balcony very nice. Geeat air conditioning and comfortable beds. Good service lovely ataff. Delicious breakfasts. Close to Island explorer for free transportation to Acadia national Park.
