Wonderful cozy motel at a great location in Bar Harbor. Close to downtown, the sandbar and to Acadia National Park.
Motel is very well maintained with a great breakfast every morning and cookies and cupcakes during the day.
The staff is amazing. From Connor, Mariel, Cody at the front desk to Paul in the kitchen. They make you feel welcomed and will do whatever they can help you.
I'm sure there are other nice hotels in the area, but it is staff at The Inn on Mt Desert that makes the difference.

A wonderful, friendly, comfortable spot an easy walk to downtown. Comfortable beds, a lovely garden…everything we needed and more. Feels like you are entering a fun community when you walk in. Great breakfast is included. Good value. We look forward to visiting again soon.

The room was amazing! Very comfortable bed and pillows. The room had all kinds of cute details of whales tail hooks, port hole mirror, shelves with rope cleats. The hotel is less than five years old. The breakfast soooo good. Two options for the warm breakfast and a beautiful presentation on a square plate with fruit and muffins, bagels, cereal.... I'm dairy free so they made me eggs with chives. The coffee was great too, a local coffee. Staff is very helpful and friendly.

Great stay. Very comfortable and clean rooms and bathrooms. Good breakfast, and the staff was extremely hospitable. Connor in particular helped my family out a lot with recommending trails points of interest. Definetly will be returning in the future hopefully sooner rather than later.

Loved our stay and Bar Harbor so much!! We stayed 3 nights and have no complaints. Room was very clean but the thing that made our experience so amazing was the staff. They were so helpful and kind with anything we had questions about. Big shoutout to Conor for helping us check in seamlessly after we arrived a day earlier and for all the great kindness and hospitality he showed us during our stay. We will definitely be back!
