La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Redding
An Expectedly Average Experience

Pros:
- Staff were attentive and helpful
- No signs of pests in the rooms, halls, or common areas
- All in-room appliances clean and working (TV, Fridge, Microwave)
- Surrounding area was quiet with low traffic
- Plenty of restaurants and shopping opportunities nearby
Cons:
- Carpets could use a deep clean, as others have mentioned
- Rooms don't have any USB outlets available
- Water spots and minor mold spots in the bathroom
- Hot tub was full of pool furniture and a traffic cone (presumably for safety while it is drained, but very unattractive to look at)
- No water dispenser after-hours so we had to use the bathroom tap to refill our bottles
Overall I have no problem recommending this hotel to others for a weekend stay, but be aware that this a 2* hotel, not a resort.

Great stay with Jason as our host!

He was very accommodating and friendly and helpful. We had a great dinner at the Cattleman's next-door with the appreciated 10% off for staying here. Took a quick dip in the pool and it was perfect temperature and clean. Next time you're in Redding and need a comfortable affordable place to stay, check in with Jason and you'll have a great experience.!! .
Unsanitary Conditions and Poor Service, Disappointing Stay at This Hotel

Published Date: Aug, 31, 2024 Travel Date: Sep, 1, 2024 Rating: 1 Overall, this hotel seems to have serious cleanliness and maintenance issues that greatly affected the guest's experience. The odor of dog urine throughout the hotel, dirty carpets, lack of cleanliness in the rooms, and poor quality breakfast are all major red flags. It is clear that the hotel does not prioritize guest comfort and satisfaction. Based on this review, it is best to avoid staying at this hotel.
This place should be condemned. Most disgusting place I have ever stepped foot into!

Published Date: Aug, 27, 2024 Travel Date: Aug, 1, 2024 Rating: 1 This hotel should be condemned. It is by far the absolutely worst hotel I have ever stepped foot in. If we weren't so tired, we would have left. The carpets and floors are nasty and stained. The stairwell looks like a dead body has been drug down the stairs. The second you walk in the door it smells like old animal urine. The room next to us had multiple dogs that barked on and off the entire time. Our shower didn't drain. The bottom of the bathroom door was completely falling apart. The bed are so old and worn out it was like sleeping in a crater, Not to mention the fact that we brought our own pillows and blankets to sleep on top of because the place was so gross. I can't believe that Wyndham would have their name associated with this dump. THIS PLACE SHOULD BE TORN DOWN AND STARTED OVER. I will never recommend a LaQuinta or consider one again.
I can not believe I spend good money for it.
