The staff were welcoming from the breakfast staff to housekeeping staff. As always, the restaurant on site has proved to be excellent each time I have dined there. My friends and I made sure we didn't forget our bathing suits so we could enjoy the hot tub on site. It's a great hotel to book if you are on your way to Yosemite.
Cozy hotel in a location convenient to Yosemite National Park

The lobby is cute and very welcoming with a piano, fireplace, fountain, various rustic wooden animal sculptures, and gifts for sale. The adjoining restaurant was good and had plenty of vegetarian and vegan options as well as a full menu for kids. The hotel is located about a 1 hour and 20 minute drive from the center of Yosemite Valley in Yosemite National Park, so the location was very convenient for hiking. This hotel was the best value I was able to find for proximity to the national park.

The rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast could have been better however it wasn’t bad. Shops, supermarkets and cafe’s were close-by.

For $189 a night we got a spacious room w two queen beds, a coffee maker, a small fridge and a microwave. It even includes a generous breakfast buffet. The grounds are lovely, and the onsite restaurant has great food.

Restore daily housekeeping services.

My one complaint and it is not isolated to this property is how the hotel industry has not restored daily housekeeping services using covid as an excuse. The industry is running with this as a way to not provide services we were all accustomed to pre covid. We stayed two nights and had no housekeeping tidying up the room making beds on day two. Unacceptable.
