We loved this place. It is located in nature. We saw deer and heard birds. It was clean. It was quiet. There was a soft pillow! The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a wide variety. If you don't have a car, there is a hill up to the rooms, but we needed that walk. Down the road, there are 2 places where you could stay with no trees and no character...just boxes. We would stay here again.

Unauthorized charges to credit card hotel will not fix

They are thieves!! They made unauthorized charges to my credit card. I have been a Best Western member for many years and this is the first Best Western that made unauthorized charges to my credit card and will not do anything to resolve the matter. I wanted to use my points for my stay, I had over 34,000 points - more than enough for a free stay. They did not honor my request to use my points and charged my credit card instead. I called the manager, who said the type of room we were in could not use the points. Yet at check-in they said I could use my points and my card would not be charged. We would never have stayed had I not been able to use my points. They did NOTHING to resolve complaint from a long time customer!!!! LIARS and thieves - watch your credit card if you stay at this hotel.

This hotel was a fantastic stay for our family! The daily hot breakfast was not only delicious but also complimentary, which was a great way to start our mornings. The onsite restaurant and bar were lively and enjoyable, and the fireplace in the common area added a warm, mountain-cozy charm to the experience. Our son absolutely loved the indoor pool, which was a major highlight for him. The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the area. The staff was exceptionally polite and helpful, making our stay even better. A special shoutout to the security guard, who was incredibly kind—he helped us when our son accidentally locked us out of the bathroom and was also attentive when a non-guest was lingering around the outdoor patio, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations with its great amenities, welcoming atmosphere, and excellent service. We would definitely stay here again!

My son and I were extremely impressed with the value of this inn. We had a room with two queen beds, and the room was big, clean, and pleasant (a little dark, but that is a minor observation). The grounds are nice and the breakfast was generous and tasty. All in all, highly recommended.

Whether you are headed to Yosemite (just 15 miles away) or need to get away from home because of boredom or no heat, this place is just perfect for that! We got a marvelous room at the top of the hill right in the woods, a 4-minute walk - and a world away - from the fine breakfast dining hall.
