Clean, quaint, updated hotel. Comfy beds, new sheets+pillows, fluffy white towels, updated lighting+decor. The location is amazing-beautiful view of Acadia Park thru sun splashed windows. Free breakfast but coffee shop is 2 minute walk away (for lattes etc). From its central location, strolling around town or taking the short drive into the park is easy. The hotel provides free hiking poles, water bottles, board games, bikes, hot tub and so many books. The staff is responsive+pleasant. On the off season, it a quiet, lovely place to get work done.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Acadia Hotel in Bar Harbor. The room was well decorated, the bed and bedding comfortable and the continental breakfast was just enough for a quick bite before heading out for our daily adventures. You can’t beat the price and location of this hotel. We were right in the middle of all that the downtown area has to offer. Would stay there again. Book with confidence!

Great location, good breakfast, clean and comfortable rooms. Keep in mind the building is old so the bathroom door is a bit hard to shut in the tight door frame which can wake up your partner in the middle of the night. The gym is really small but will do if you really need a workout. Heating and air conditioning work well and the staff is nice. Would stay here again!

We loved staying at The Acadia Hotel! Alexcia was so hospitable at the front desk and we enjoyed our chats with her. We even ran into the owner one day and love seeing him visible. The hotel is across the street from the free bus system that will take you around the island and Acadia National Park. You’re in walking distance to the Bar Harbor restaurants, shopping, and the sandbar. They have little extras that make your stay even better. We got stuck there on a rainy day and they had umbrellas for us to use. They have games, puzzles, hiking sticks, backpack coolers, binoculars, bikes and more. We took their bikes on the free bus system and rode around Acadia National Park. (The bus people are so friendly and helpful on where you are trying to go). Breakfast downstairs was simple but even offered made to order omelets. There is always coffee, decaf coffee, hot water, iced water, tea bags and cold brew on tap downstairs. The rooms were great and each room is configured a little different. We had a balcony king room. They have a sound machine, mini fridge and hair dryer in the room. The bathroom was a little cramped and for sure only one person can fit at a time unless the other is in the walk in shower. We definitely would stay again!

Lovely hotel in a fantastic location. We had everything on the doorstep, quite expensive but you get what you pay for. Had ground floor room quite small but vey clean and well equipped, only downside mattress and pillows could do with upgrading.
